Good product for the price. This ice cream maker is quite easy to clean (though the pieces are said to not be dishwasher safe) and is quite simple to use. The only slight negative thing I can say is that the ice cream doesn't get very hard and is like soft-serve and, depending on your tastes, needs to be put in the freezer for a bit if you don't like a softer ice cream that gets a bit soupy quickly. I had the cannister in the freezer for a few days, so it had plenty of time to freeze beforehand. Also, you'll need to have an alternate container to put the remaining ice cream in, in the freezer.Overall, a good product for a good price. 09/08/2011

Not quite as good but not bad I was a bit disappointed with this ice cream maker because the ice cream wasn't the consistency I wanted. I received better results with ice cream makers that used rock salt and ice which were more efficient at keeping the ice cream bucket at the right temperature . This product limits spontaneity, if you all of a sudden have a hankering for some ice cream and your bucket is not already frozen you are out of luck. This ice cream maker requires the bucket to be frozen overnight below 32 degrees. This is not a bad product but be forewarned, the bucket must be frozen solid before you can use it or your ice cream will be too liquidized. 08/07/2011
