This worked great for me while I was living in an apartment. Going to the laundromat every week was time consuming, tiring and slowly added up to be expensive. This was definitely a much easier way to wash clothes and eventually i saved enough money from not having to go to the laundromat to break even. My only warning is to never try to wash a comforter in here... not big enough for that. I've had mine 3 years now and its still in good shape.

The plastic lid and top of the washer has cracked/crumbled. The screws don't hold the top on anymore. This should last more than 2 years. I can't use it or even sell it- piece of junk.

I love my washer. When I put it on most cycles, including Quick Wash, it keeps re-figuring the minutes left. Once it took 90 minutes. I now put it on 05-wash, and 06-spin, but there seems to be no rinse cycle. My clothes come out washed and spun, but looking like they were not rinsed. I stood next to the washer for a whole cycle, and there was no rinse. Can someone help?

    • A. 05 and 06 are cycles that do just that one stage. You may be looking for a quick wash which is 04, and does 1 wash, 1 Rinse with a spin in between. It takes 26 minutes. I've discovered that the time will self adjust based on how long it take the tub to fill with water. Your faucet may be too slow. Try turning the tap on full.

    • A. Is it possibly off balance? I have a different washer and if it is off balance it will keep readjusting the time and not wash properly.

    • A. Thanks. I've tried it on every cycle, including the regular cycle, but it keeps re-adjusting the time. For instance, it will say 19 minutes, but after a rinse, it will say 23 minutes. It will do this several times.

    • A. Yes. I believe that is how it is meant to be hooked up. No adapters are needed (not even the ones it comes with), as long as you don't mind just using cold water. The drain hose is also shaped perfectly to fit in the laundry room drain.

    • A. yes but an adapter is needed for the water intake since there is only one. If you want hot and cold u needed a Y adapter and manually change the water temperature since the washer does not do it automatically.

    • A. Yes you can. Go to home depot and buy a Y hose connector $8. It hooks up to both hot and cold so you get warm water wash an rinses. I would not change the water outlet side because the flexible hose inside the washer will not reach.

    • A. Yes. I just installed one in a location that had a regular washer hookup. The drain hose just goes into the drain pipe as with any washer. It only has one water inlet so you need to either pick hot or cold or spend about $50 on hoses and fittings to make a "Y" connector to connect to both for warm water. I just bought a hose end cap for $2 (Home Depot SKU # 550876), capped the hot and connected the washer to the cold water supply. Works great!

I can't get the filter thing off the end of my faucet. Do you have to take that off or does it fit over the filter thing?

    • A. I had a really difficult time removing the tip from my faucet and discovered that it's NOT a lefty loosey one, it had to be turned right to loosen. I have no idea why. The only other time I encountered this was with a fan blade that spun clockwise and that made sense but this one I don't get.

    • A. You must be able to take off the faucet aerator to install. It may be stuck from lime build-up so you may need to use a pipe wrench or pliers.

    • A. I couldn't get mine off at first and it looked to me like it was not intended to come off. But - I got a small plier and turned left-ward and sure enough it came off. I then put the silver end of the machine hook-up onto the sink faucet.
