Best Haier A/C ever! I can't imagine why there are so many negative reviews on this air conditioner! I purchased this model yesterday, May 3, 2012 from our local Walmart Superstore in St. Clairsville, Ohio. This was a replacement for my living room a/c which died recently. I've had a 5,000 btu Haier in my kitchen window for approx. six years now and it performs great! I have had other Haier products and trust in the name. I love every feature especially the Energy Star and the remote. It was very easy to install by my daughter and by the short time that I arrived back home from the grocery store I couldn't believe how cool the house felt. Bottom line, I wouldn't have any other make and model except this one! 05/04/2012
