Great Printer Excellent purchase, does everything I need it to do. Easy set up and easy to use. 04/08/2012
Too complicated for it's own good I upgraded from a photosmart to an envy and regret it everyday. To start the envy would not recognise the Mac lion OS so i needed help getting it set up. Now I want to print envelopes. I'm pretty competent and did this regularly on the photosmart. because the envy is finding a mismatch of paper sizes - and there isn't one - i cannot print and nor can i override. The mismatch saves paper and ink by not allowing me to print where there is a mismatch! For me, this is the worst printer I've ever had and am likely to throw it away and go back to a photosmart. Tried getting HP support but it isn't supported in online chat and the system wont' accept the serial number for email support. there copmes a point when you simply have to give in. I regard myself as an intermediate IT user so i'm not totally inept. 04/06/2012
Quiet & Stylish Sleek Design This printer has everything you need for simple printing, copying, scanning, and fax capabilities. The setup was seamless and practically set itself up. I love the fact that it only contains to ecological black and color cartridges. What sets this printer apart from others is the design and simplicity of using the printer. I would highly recommend this printer to someone who has a computer, laptop, tablet, or iPad. Especially if you have an tablet or iPad it has the AirPlay Print capability. Also this printer can print, copy, scan, using two sides which is great to save paper.... And it's not hard at all the printer will notify by touchscreen to flip sides (copy/scan purposes). Lastly the coolest best feature about this printer it has Apps built in and also you can download more apps. Why apps? What's the big deal? You can find usefull apps, I.e spreadsheet apps for different purpose or snapfish (photography app), each app has its purpose, but what makes it great is that you can setup and print from the app using the touchscreen. Whats also great is the fact that when it prints the LCD screen pops open at a 45 degree angle and the paper tray automatically comes out to hold the paper in place, once you remove the printed paper, the printer sensor than folds back the paper tray back inside and the LCD screen automatically closes. How cool is that! Overall this printer is the best I have ever had. You get what you paid for, so money shouldnt be an issue. I would definitely recommend it to a individual or small business. 04/04/2012
This printer rocks. I have to admit to being a bit skeptical. However, having been turned off on all the common printers, I realized I needed something that could do everything and the technology would remain current for at least a while. This printer was a charm to set up on both my hard-wired desktop and my wireless laptop. (They both communicate wirelessly with the printer). I've tried all features but the efax. --I'm sure I'll have to learn a bit more about it to make it work. And I could care less if the eprint works or not. The rest of it is really excellent. I'm printing 8 1/2" x 11" posters for advertising a major insurance company I sell for and the pictures and print are great as I could want.--They're practically free compared to going to a printer. I do expect to have this as long as I had my 2nd printer which was an HP...about 10 years. The cost is well worth that plus HP's stellar support. 03/29/2012
