Okay this by far exceeds my expectations, and my expectations were high. This laptop is fast and does everything I need it to do. And its so pretty too! No problems whatsoever. I absolutely LOVE this thing!! So yesterday I went ahead and ordered the matching mouse. I wasn't expecting the mouse to arrive till next week but got it the next day. Amazing! :-)

I purchased this laptop after having a Dell laptop for about 6 years. I'm loving my laptop and yes it's super cute. This laptop has a nice screen and the colors are great, but the sound could be a tad bit louder. My friends love to say I'm a little deaf, so the sound could be wonderful for others. The camera on the laptop is great and it also has a built in microphone which is great to have. Overall, I'm not a computer geek, but I'm sorta computer savvy and I think it's a great light weight laptop.

This is my second HP laptop, the first gave me problems from day one, everything went wrong with my first HP, it would shut down on it's own, the screen broke without me dropping it, everything you could think of went wrong with this computer! It's not scrape metal! And after reading many horror stories related to HP I had doubts about buying this one, even though it is SO!! cute, but I swallowed my pride and bought it. I am so very, very glad I did. This computer was probably the best computers I have ever had! It runs great! I love Windows 7! I would recommend this computer to anyone and everyone!!!!

After a bit of research on what I best needed in a laptop, I stumbled across this HP Dandelion Breeze at Walmart.com. After reading reviews and liking the overall look and design, I decided to order and I have not regretted my decision! It has been wonderful. I would recommend to anyone thinking about making their first laptop purchase!

I bought this computer for my daughter for christmas. Prior to my purchase I did my comparison browsing on Bestbuy's website and compared what was my price range with this computer and felt this one was the best bang for my dollars. And tho this one was a refurbished model it had way more options on it than the laptops I saw on Bestbuy. It was easy to set up, the graphic's are great, she loved the color and I'm thinking of getting one for myself for my birthday. The only thing that I'll need to do is that it came with a 90day anti-virus program and I've found some software on amazon for 19.99. so that's not bad. During loading and registering, your given the options for buy extended warrenty's otherwise you get a 90day warrenty as well. Hope my review was helpful.

  • A. yes, if you go to the Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound. From there click on the Synaptics Touch Pad Settings link. This will open a new window. Highlight the Scrolling option on the left. When it is highlighted there will be a small cog wheel (circle thing) and a question mark that show up. Click on the cog wheel. At the bottow, make sure the "Enable vertical Scrolling" box is checked. If you want you can also enable horizontal scrolling that you can move the screen right and left. Hope this helps.

  • A. I've only had the laptop now for about 4 months and I haven't been able to do this. Every time you go on a webpage or application, you have to use the "trigger" button and touchpad to scroll down. If there's one thing I wish you could do with this computer is scroll using the touchpad!

  • A. Yes, you're able to scroll up and down on the page using the touchpad all you have to do is use 2 fingers at the same time and hold down on the touchpad and move them up and down to scroll. takes some getting used to though.

Does anyone know the weight of this laptop? I'm trying to decide between a laptop and a netbook. I need something small enough to fit into my purse. This laptop is super cute.
by Jnamm19 5/17/2012

  • A. It's a 15.6 in computer, so unless you have a cute carrying case, then it would fit into that just fine, but if you want something smaller, go with a netbook, a nook or a kindle.

  • A. I think its almost 6 lbs., doesn't feel heavy, but well-built. I carry a large pocketbook with lots of junk, no way this would fit. It is really cute though, buy a case 4 it or use a backpack!

  • A. I'm not sure of the exact weight of the laptop, but it's not heavy at all. You would be able to carry it in your purse with no problem. The laptop is very cute, but in the picture it looks like it's going to be like a sky blue color when in reality it's more teal, but still it's a really nice laptop.

  • A. It wieghs about 5 pounds. It measures just under 15 inches wide and just under 10 inches long. It's slim - just over an inch thick. I don't think it would fit in a purse very well unless you have a super big purse. I would recommend instead, if you really want this laptop which is awesome looking, to buy the matching sleeve which has two cloth handles to grasp it by. Walmart is out of the matching Dandelion sleeve but you can find them brand new for about $15 on eBay. While you're at it, buy this laptop from Walmart with the matching mouse (only $10 more and the mouse works super). I would buy the brand new one, not the refurbished, as the price is low enough anyway. Hope this helps.

  • A. my advice is go with this and stay away from the netbook. I just bought this for my wife because she always complained about the screen size of the netbook. I would say it weighs a pound or less but It won't fit in your purse, unless it's a bag purse. In that case go with the netbook but it's your overall decision. Hope that helps

I did not receive a user book in my box? I have no clue how to set things up like cable, and all the rest of things. How do I get a user book?
by an anonymous customer 3/29/2012
8 answers
  • A. It does not come with a book, just a quick set-up fold-out; if you need that, just call HP. Once you get it plugged in (which is really just intuitive, just put the end of the plug in the hole it fits in), the complete guide is on the machine. (I know, it drives me crazy too that they print it anymore, but at least its better than 'on-line support' for a computer that won't connect to the net!)

  • A. In the interest of promoting a greener future, and to reduce pricing on HP products for the consumer, Hewlett-Packard no longer prints paper manuals. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. To set up cable internet, I recommend contacting your internet service provider. The Windows operating system also contains a "help" feature with an extensive database of frequently asked questions.
