Excellen purchase/HP Pavillion Desk top computer Shopped on-line Wal Mart. Product shipped and arrived earlier than expected. This was a good thing!Picked it up @ the Wal Mart nearest me, brought it home and was on line in thirty minutes. Great computer. Only down side was the excessive bundling....but that's with ANY computer these days. Wish they had included the program discs, as you pay for the programs when you buy the computer. But...that's not Wal Mart's fault. I love Wally World. What did we ever do without it? 03/25/2012
meets my needs For about the cheapest I could find, it meets my needs. I write books, I do the email and surf thing, and for that - it meets my needs. Size, speed - I really don't know - but speed seems more than adequate for me. It does jump around a bit when checking email - on start up, for some reason - other than that Windows 7 seems better than Vista - I like the superbar task bar. My last two computers were Dell, so decided to try HP. It sleeps when it is supposed to and shuts down according to what setting I choose - something my Dell did not want to do correctly. Now, I don't have a flashing blue light all night and my computer coming on in the middle of the night and lighting up the whole room. Something I did not like about my Dell computer. 04/01/2012
