AA battery would work better. this is the worst possible battery on the planet. ive had my laptop for 2 years, now, within seconds (yes, SECONDS) of unplugging the AC charger, my laptop dies. great laptop, TERRIBLE BATTERY. 03/24/2011

The worst battery in the world When I bought this laptop, I thought it was just bad luck that my battery discharged in 2 1/4 hours, but after reading some of the reviews, I think I was lucky enough to see it function at least at the beginning. Not a year has passed, and it only lasts 1 1/4 hours. And the worst of all, I payed $20 more for the "High Capacity Battery".I picked HP because I thought it was a good brand, but seeing this, now I changed my mind. 03/09/2011
Disappointing Within 6 months of use, battery life was less than 50%. By 12 months, the battery was dead and needs to be replaced. The warranty is 1 year, and that is exactly what you get. Would not recommend. And after this, would not recommend HP. 02/25/2011
