    Careful! Although this battery lasts much longer, and although it is the correct extended life battery for my Compaq F500 series laptop according to the compatibility chart, once it is put in the computer, it can not be taken out. 05/11/2009
    Not what I expected I bought this battery for my DV2000 since my 6cell was already dead.I was expecting an average usage of at least 6 hrs.Top most I am getting out of it 4 hrs on power saver and screen resolution 10 ./..Lappy + battery = super heavy. 05/10/2009
    Poor Battery Performance I have had three of these batteries so far . . .The first one failed within 3 mos of the initial dv6100t laptop purchase and was replaced under warranty.The second was purchased after 1 year (of course 45 days past warranty) due to a severe drop in charge percentage from 100% to 48% just overnight. (only 2 hours use time)Now I have had to purchase a third battery ( 1 year again. . ) within 2 1/2 years of purchase of the original laptop.If the batteries are only going to last 1 year, they should lower the replacement cost.If this one fails within 2 years, I will replace the laptop to a different battery style! Getting too expensive a laptop overall operating cost!VERY POOR BATTERY PERFORMANCE!!! Excellent laptop, but without portable power it is only a "brick"! 04/18/2009
    Good Battery. Excellent life When i originaly got the 12 cell battery for my notebook i was a bit skeptical, but i found that the height increase makes it easier to type on, and the laptop is even able to be some-what cooled on cloth/bed surfaces. Overall the durability of the battery is pretty good, My original 12 cell that is now over 1.5 years old lasts about 2.5 hours (every day i drain it to 0% then recharge, sometimes several times a day). I just got another one of the 12 cell battery packs and i intend to use this one more lightly.. brand new the battery lasts over 6 hours on "max battery" and around 4 hours on "max performance" which is very good. I also had a 6 cell battery previous to both of the 12 cell's and i DO NOT RECCEMEND, the 6 cell loses life fast, it barley lasts 3 hours brand new on slow-mode and the laptop tends to get hot because there is no incline. 03/25/2009
