It has an opening on the bottom similar to a sheet making it easier to place over a mattress. It does stand on its own though.

If you want it to be on the floor. It does work well with it on the floor. That is the way we have it for the two that we bought.

No Velcro is used on he tent no zippers at all.

Unfortunately, we only make our bed tents in full and twin size, sorry.

Does the H.Q. bed tent come in a double size?

Great for my two boys. They love it. It also nice and low to the ground that they will not get hurt to much if they fall out of bed.

This is a really cool tent and super easy to set up

My boys love the tent. I purchased 2 for them (ages 4 and 9). Easy to assemble. The threading for one of the loops that hold the poles arrived loose, hopefully my quick sewing job will last. Tent rests on top of the twin mattress, held in place by a fitted mattress skirt.

Easy to set up. My 6 year old son loves it.

A bit pricey but my son loves it.

Great for toddlers! Fits a twin mattress as stated. Has windows so he can see out the sides if he wants to & close the door or Velcro it open. Sturdy too!
