Great movie

I've loved these two films since I first saw them years ago. I first owned them on VHS, and then purchased one on DVD. I misplaced the 2nd film on VHS.

So I went on a quest to buy the 2nd one on DVD, and found them both happily together on BlueRay I couldn't resist, especially at the price I paid, plus having it delivered for a cost of less than $1.00. I was impressed.

There are not many videos I am inspired to "own" especially with the extensive video libraries available online via subscription - but this one is worth owning.

It always inspires a smile, laughter and even a deep thought or two.

The film is a treat for all ages, though it has some adult themes so I'd recommend age 12 on up, younger than that simply won't understand things.

Its a look at the brighter side of growing "Old" and "Grumpy" - amusing, and inspiring.

Great Entertainment!

Can't rate it since we haven't watched it yet.

Great movies

First of all I love and watch these 2 movies about twice a year.
I have them or regular DVD pan and scan.
The blu-ray has a much better picture, not great but much better.
The package says 16x9 and 1.85, yes it is 16x9 but not 1.85.
On my TV if it was 1.85 there would be a black band on top of the picture and the bottom, there is not. I compared my old DVD with the new Blu-ray and the picture was the same pan and scan just expanded to fit.
So it's good but not great, I will still be on the look out for a true 1.85 version.
No problem with audio or both copy's being on this disk.

OK but not Great.

Disc did not work.  Box stamped "DISC MADE IN MEXICO" and box looks like a fake.

Bad quality

I bought this item because I love the movies but it would really help having sound on the first movie but all I see is there mouth's moving but no sound. The second movie does have sound so I know its not my Blu-Ray player.

NO SOUND

would not play. kept saying "error disk". very disappointing.  i wanted those 2 movies very much...very disappointed.

This deal seemed great until I viewed it. Only one movie was contained - the original Grumpy Old Men. Do yourself a favor and check it out right away. If you wait weeks to open it like I did you may get a nasty surprise. It was too late to return by the time I realized it.
