Rated 3 out of 5Â by goldn21 work as expected, but the wrong size these work as expected, similar to the popular name brands, but they are the wrong size to fit in the soap dispenser of the (popular name brand) dishwasher. You would think someone would have looked at that before putting them on the market? So basically you have to put them in the silverware holder or someplace else, I'm not sure how that effects the cleaning ability, when it is not protected by the dispenser until the timed release. Maybe an appliance repair person could answer that question. I'm afraid to put anything right up against them, I'm not sure how that would turn out. Also the blue coloring you see (in the picture above) is just colored plastic not a different type of soap like the popular brand. Generally okay to use but inconvenient, if I recommend them I will strongly point that out before hand, sorry but that's why I gave a 3 star rating. 08/13/2011
Rated 3 out of 5Â by jml12 Okay, leaves lots of powder residue I am a person that scrubs the food completely off my dishes before they go in the washer, so I'm not sure how effective these packs are at cleaning truly dirty dishes. For me, they do the "cleaning" job since I do basically all the work, but they leave a considerable amount of powder residue. Certain dishes like my pots wind up having quite a lot of powder left in them. I rinse/clean this out when I see it because I can't help but feel as though consuming powder is unhealthy.. think of the chemicals. I bought this huge container which was a great value and price, but I'm too cheap to throw them out. Oh well, next time I'll buy gel packs again. I started buying Finish powder packs, which I think also resulted in powder, so I don't really think it's this brand. I just don't like powder residue, though. Then I switched to gel packs, and I'm not sure if it's my apartment's crummy old dishwasher or if gel packs are faulty, but I had MANY occasions when the gel wouldn't dissolve.. and then I would run the cycle yet again. Maybe I'll never find the perfect product. Overall, these are pretty good for the value I think. 10/09/2012

I have used all the different brands of dishwasher detergent, & this one works as well as the most expensive brands. I don't wash my dishes before using the machine, but I do clean off any stuck on food & run a rinse cycle after I load it. I do a rinse cycle whenever I put any more any dishes in as I only run the dishwasher once a day. The rinse cycle on my machine is 9 minutes, & I usually run it twice a day. It takes off any remnants of food & etc. Then, when I run the dishwasher in the evening I am very please with the results. I will continue to use this product as it works for me. 03/10/2013
