You have found a mystery... my box had no country of origin listed. Just distributed by Walmart Bentonville AR.

I did some research online and found that "Wal-Mart contends that all Great Value products are produced in the United States"

So I guess unless otherwise stated, all Great Value brands are made in the US. Perhaps they are also manufactured in the Bentonville facility, or maybe manufactured by little plants all across the USA and distributed out of Bentonville. I don't have a better answer than the one wikipedia gave. Hope that helps anyway!

We have a large family that goes through sandwich and quart-sized bags like there's no tomorrow but it gets expensive so we always opted for the cheaper brands that always seemed to disappoint us BUT when we finally tried the Great Value brand we were amazed,  the prices are fair and they hold up better than some of the more well-known brands!!

Greatly Value sandwich bags vs other brands

These are nice little food storage bags. We use them to freeze single serving size portions from larger purchases of meat and cheese. Now if you could just make them open without that crisp little noise that brings our dog to the frig hoping for a morsel they would be perfect.

Great little bags!

These are decent bags for the price, a little thin. I don't suggest putting liquids or anything heavy in them. Perfect for sandwiches and chips though.

Sturdy yet thin

Amazing value for the price. They are crucial in my daily life, primarily packing lunches for school. The only flaw is odor transfer. If you have chips or crackers in one bag and fruit in another, the fruit flavor will transfer to the dry food. It takes at least 8 to 10 hours for this to happen in a small, closed space. This has not been a problem since I first realized it.

I like the  value of these sandwich bags but recently the bags are all sliced below the zipper and cannot be used.  I'm seeing other reviews with the same problem.

Poor Quality

Usually the Great Value product is great but unfortunately this time it seems like every other bag pulled out of the box is broken at the seam just before the zipper is on the bags.

I have bought these sandwich bags for several years.  This time the baggies. rip on one side and will not open.  This is very annoying and a waste of I product I paid good money for.  I will try a better quality product in the future.

Poor quality product!

Oh no! None of the bags seal! Most of the bags are ripped/cut under the sealing line! Usually buy this brand with no issues but this time none of them can be used!

I'm usually a supporter of the Great Value brand, but now I'd like to voice my dissatisfaction with many of the products. Starting with the double zipper bags; every other bag rips opened towards the top (under the zipper). It frustrating to find one that works. The box of 200 has more cut than usable bags. This is the second time (this year) that I've had this problem with the GV baggies. It's not as easy to make returns lately, so again I lose out for using less than great products.
