Yes, the rack has dividers so the jars don't touch. I've put in about 7 jars but you might be able to put in more

Yes, but as with all canners, stay in the kitchen and keep an eye on it. I would not keep it at high heat for an extended period of time. Once your water is boiling, turn the gas down to maintain the boil.

yes. works ok. leaving it in the bottom of the pot seems to work best. The jars are not stable on it if you try to move it.

Not really. The rack has built in handles to help you lift it out. I suggest wearing oven mitts thou because the handles are obviously very hot.

Yes, there are two handles that you can use the lift the rack. It also has the ability to rest on the canner so you can put the jars in it before you drop it into the water.

The rack has handles that fold up or down. The handles are used to lift the rack for jar placement and removal.

Yes, it does have a bottle lifter and it has handles that have a bend in them so it can hook onto the sides of the pot and hold it up.

Yes it has a rack lifter built in to the rack itself. Its kinda nice as you can lift the rack by the lifting arms and expand them to rest / suspend on the top rim of the pot to bring your jars out of the hot water and then lower them again if needed.

The rack has two handles which stick up in the pot when the rack is set into it. You lift the rack of jars by those handles. There is a bend in the handles which allows you to suspend the jars with the tops a few inches above the water when you need to.

THE RACK ITSELF HAS HANDLES TO LIFT THE RACK OUT AND SET ON THE TOP OF THE POT. WORKS BEAUTIFULLY.

Need to be aware these canning pots are intended for gas stoves or coil-electric, but not glass top electric. The round ridges are not recommended for glass top. Other than , they are GREAT!

Good, dependable and lasting.

This waterbath canner came to me in perfect order. It's just what I wondered. I also ordered. 7 cases of jars so far I have only discovered 1 case with a suggestion that glass not be wrapped in paper alone to protect them from damage. It looked good but when I lifted it I heard glass rattling it was packed with one more of the same  kind and it sounds ok but I'm going to examine it before I bring the broken jars back. Bubble wrap usually works better.

This water bath for processing bottles is food, worked great! It was nice to get a new one after after having my old one for over 20 years. Great quality!!

Canning water bath is awesome!

The pot was what my grandmother used for canning. The granite pot was what I expected, but I found that the rim was bent and I didn't notice until I unpacked it after 2 wks. I kept it anyway.

Just what I have been looking for.

This is about as basic as it gets the one thing I don't like is the lid it is very sharp around the edges so if you are doing any tanning with kids or teaching people, be careful, the interact is pretty thin. We will see how it holds up, not impressed With the quality it could be way better but it's not bad either just expected a little more I guess. Some warping on the edges
