It makes use of 900 MHz wireless frequency to facilitate communication between the parent unit and the child unit. The Graco baby monitor features sound lights that help you keep a close watch on your baby. In case you miss the clear audio signal, sound lights draw your attention to your babys needs. Also, the monitor boasts of a 2000-feet range that lets you move to any part in and around your house without losing touch with your infant. Further, the 900 MHz frequency doesnt interfere with other wireless devices like routers, cordless phones and even microwaves. When the battery starts to drain out, an alarm keeps you updated of the development. Best monitor I have ever purchased! I have 2 of these monitors. The first one I purchased over 3 years ago and it still works great! The second I just purchased a couple weeks ago after trying a different monitor and hating it! This is definately the best monitor I have ever purchased and it is worth the money. Doesnt Work This monitor doesnt work. We have a smaller condo and it wouldnt work a room away from my sons. This is the 3rd monitor we have tried in 24 hours . I hope we can find one that will work! 12/08/2010
Helpful product We have used this monitor for almost two months with our new born. It is very helpful with the size of the hand held receiver. I can take it outside and to the basement for laundry and still hear movement in the upstairs. Even the movement of the dogs walking on the hardwood. 12/01/2010
