Had an Evenflo booster car seat for my 3 year old. Everytime we went somewhere I worried about my daughters safety since the seat was flimsy and not very padded. I decided to spend more dollars to get this Graco Booster seat and I am so satisfied. It is one heavy solid well padded and protected car seat. My child looks comfortable and secure. Also the colors are fantastic. Now I wont worry when we take long car trips I just feel more comfortable about this booster and glad I spent money on Graco.

Rated 4 out of 5 by padgemi8 Great value and last seat you will ever need!
Great value. My daughter is a girly girl and loves the colors. I recently went from a larger vehicle to a compact car, but the carseat fits nicely in both vehicles. I like that this will be the last seat I will ever have to buy! It seems sturdy and the placement of the cup holder is NICE!!! Her older seat was an attachment on the side and took up too much space when trying to fit a second carseat. My only complaint is that I have no idea how to adjust the straps. As I was reading reviews before purchasing this seat I saw that was a common complaint.
Rated 3 out of 5 by PinkyST I have been doing lots of reviews on car seats and I was debating between this one and the Britax Frontier 85. Since this one was much cheaper, we decided to try it out. We loved the colors and it seemed very sturdy and safe. It was a little difficult to adjust the height of the straps, but that wasn't a huge deal. The main thing we didn't like was that it was extremely hard to buckle and unbuckle the straps. Also, my daughter seemed hunched over in it and when she fell asleep her head kept going foward so it didn't seem like it would be comfortable for long trips. We really wanted to like it, but we ended up returning it and buying the Britax. We love it and you definitely do get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AllieJoey Not impressed
After spending a little more money than I wanted, I bought this carseat for my baby daughter. After less than 4 months of using a product that is suppose to transition into toddlerhood, the adjustment strap began to fray and unravel. I contacted Graco and was told that they'll mail me a shipping label for me to package up the carseat and ship it back to them- and then after they receive my damaged product they will mail me my replacement product-which won't even be the same thing that I bought, just whatever patten they have in stock at that time. This would leave me with at least a week of time I would not have a carseat for my child. Not impressed with the quality of the carseat and not impressed with Graco.
Rated 4 out of 5 by JloveLos Love it!
We have 2 of these Nautilus car seats in different colors. One for our 5 year old who doesn't weigh enough to be in a booster yet, and this new one for the 2 year old who just became forward facing. They're comfortable, and the girls love them--especially the cup holders. The only thing that is different on this one is that the harness piece that clicks into the center piece that goes between the legs will appear to be fastened but is not actually fastened until you hear a click. I think this is on the risky side, so we have to always be sure and listen for that click.
Rated 5 out of 5 by modela56 Great Seat
This is our second Nautilus car seat and we love them. Easy to install, remove, and clean. What more can you ask for.
Rated 4 out of 5 by AuntKhaki Great carseat, but not as convertibal as I thought
The information and the reviews I read about this carseat lead me to believe that this carseat could be used from birth until she no longer required one. However, when we tried to install it rear facing, it would not install correctly at all. Other than that, it's wonderful.
Rated 5 out of 5 by LDSGIRL Grows with your baby.
I like this car seat for several reasons but the number one reason is it will follow your baby all the way from a very young age until they are up to 100 pounds!!! I liked the idea of not having to buy another car seat. I wonder how clean it will be when she graduates out of the seat. LOL! I like the cup holder although it won't hold a sippy cup with handles. It is a heavy car seat but I have a 13 and 10 year old that sit in the bench with the baby and nobody is crowded. My 13 year old is big too! The fabric and color is super cute. The strap between their legs makes it convenient to tighten or loosen. The buckle between the legs do not have to "marry" before you put them into buckle. In our infant car seat you had to "marry" or place the two pieces together to fit them into buckle and it was HORRIBLE, especially when baby was throwing a fit. This one you can do one at a time. Much more mommy friendly. ;)
Rated 4 out of 5 by JKG2007 My daughter loves it!!
This is a great car seat/booster. My daughter is a petite 4 year old and I love the way she looks secure in this seat. The cup holder is a added plus!! The only thing that I would change is - I wish that the car seat would recline back more because my daughter's head still falls forward if she falls asleep!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Renfrow Closest to perfect I could find
This carseat is the closest to perfect I could find. We wanted something with a high safety rating, that was a 65lb 5 point harness and converted. It also had the color and cup holder I was looking for. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the arms are stationary. I wish they moved and I wished they had cup holders in each side. The other downfall is the hight. I did not dock it for this but I can barely get my kids in it and I am 5'6 in our SUV and Truck. If I had a car that was lower to the ground that would not be an issue. The plus side of that is the kids sit up very high and can see perfectly out the window. Plus for them, minus for me since it is harder. I love the design and they seem comfortable. The buckles at the chest are harder but other reviewers said that got easier over time. For the price this is a great buy.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Souffle07 Great car seat
First I want to say Walmart you need to change the name for this. When people see convertible car seat they think it is a rear facing and forward facing seat. This seat is only forward facing. It should be called Graco - Nautilus 3-in-1 Multi-Use Car Seat, Erica. My daughter and I love this seat. It is very easy to instal. I have removed it and installed it multiple times now. It only takes a few minutes. I do not have a latch in my car and I still think it is easy to instal.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gretand Awesome carseat!
-My kids both love the colors.
-My kids love the cup holders
-My kids love how high they sit in these seats.
-I love the easy installation! Seriously the easiest car seats I've ever installed!
-Safety rating and how heavy these seats are rated is a HUGE plus.
-The body insert can only be used with the lower notches.
-The headrest is difficult to move up/down without uninstalling the seat.
-The lower latch on this seat is incredibly difficult.
Overall, GREAT seat. My kids are 5 and 7, and due to their small size must still be kept in 5-point harnesses. At times my 7 year old doesn't like sitting in a "baby seat" but once we moved to these seats, he LOVES it! Haven't heard a complaint yet, and he has had his seat since April. The main reason this seat gets a 4 instead of a 5 for me is the lower latch being so difficult. I thought with use it would become easier, but after 3.5 months my son's lower latch is still extremely hard to use.
Rated 3 out of 5 by MommaofTwoinDE Great, but a little difficult
Seems really comfy & easy to install, but can be a bit difficult to adjust straps. Lower one in particular can be a little snug on my daughter's legs.
Rated 5 out of 5 by ChristinaSue Great carseat worth every penny!
This carseat is the best padded out of all carseats i looked at. It can recline which my daughter loves since she is always taking her naps in the car as we are always on the go. This carseat is also very easy to install and adjust i wouldnt change a thing about and i would recommend it to everyone. The only downfall is it is pretty heavy but i feel it is more trust worthy and safe that way so its not really a downfall
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cowgirlup2007 Great carseat!
I just bought this seat for my 14 month old daughter Friday. It was very easy to put together and to install! I was worried about it fitting in my truck because its just an extended cab with the 3rd door, but it fits great! We had the Cosco convertiable carseat but she didnt like it and would cry everytime we put her in it, now she doesnt want out of this one. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to buy one car seat (after the infant carrier) and be done. The cup holder is great, but she uses it for her paci instead of her sippy cup. We love it!
Rated 3 out of 5 by imagelightbulb We'll get by until we can go to a shoulder harness
We have a tall, thin child who outgrew her convertible seat by height, but didn't weight enough to go to the car's shoulder harness in a regular booster seat. We went with this seat because it was the best-rated booster with a 5-point harness (seems to be the current recommendation for kids <40 lb). It was hard to get it fastened snugly into my back seat (Subaru Forester) and the two buckles are hard for my daughter (and me) to work. The seat pad was positioned such that we couldn't tighten the straps, so we unhooked it and it just sits loose on top. Even so, sometimes I have to fish out the crotch strap when the pad slides around. The strap does come out rather close to the body, as other users had commented but my daughter seems pretty comfortable. All in all, the best I can say is that we'll get by with it until she hits 40 lb and then we'll get the same Graco seat our older daughter has (Highback Turbo).
Rated 5 out of 5 by HerLoveableMommy I love it ! And my daughter loves it! Its very easy to put together and put into the car.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Simpmom Disappointed
I was excited for this. My daughter was as well she still loves it because of its looks. But unfortunately that is where the positives end for me. I had a convertible graco car seat and loved it, so thought I would try the booster. Here are my issues.
I have an 08 pilot and don't feel that the seat is secure with the latch system. There is still too much movement. So I used the seat belt in addition to the latch system. still more movement than her previous car seats, but thought I would still try to make it work. (I hate returning things).
Then as time has gone on (a week or two) I have decided that I don't feel the shoulder straps really fit my daughter. I noticed she was slouching and scrunching as I was assisting her to get buckled. I would say maybe its just the size of my child except she is only like 18% in weight on the charts. And is only like 56% on height. If my tiny 3yr old doesn't fit whose kid would? For how much these things cost I want them to last through my child's growth.
Needless to say I am regrettably going to pack this back up and return it. Ugh what a hassle! I am going to try the Britax frontier based on reviews I have read. I really hope the extra money ends up being worth it!
Rated 4 out of 5 by mom2honeybunnies Great, but room for improvement
I previously owned 3 of these car seats because I loved how well they worked for my then 3 & 6 year old girls (now 4 & 7). After being in a car crash that totaled our family van (thankfully our girls were not involved), two of these car seats needed to be destroyed. I knew that based on my previous like of this car seat that I would automatically get them again. I only ordered one. Graco made the chest clip and crotch buckle smaller, and are not as user friendly as before. They work fine, I just don't like the so-called "upgrades" since I thought they were perfectly fine before. My 4 year old that could buckle herself in with ease now gets terribly frustrated with the crotch buckle since you really have to force it in before it locks. **Also worth noting, even though my small kids fit fine in this seat, if your toddler or youngster is chubby, this seat may not work best for you. The harness straps are not extra long (as you might expect for a harness seat that is good to 65 pounds). My 51", 48lbs 7 year old can barely fit in the seat with her winter coat on because the straps are short. Next year she will definitly need to take her coat off to still use the harness straps. I would give this 5 stars if Graco didn't change the buckles and had lengthened the straps (as many customers have asked them to do)... so it'll just get 4 from me. It has room for improvement, but is still a great seat.

When my granddaughter saw her new car seat she flipped. She was like Grandma you are the best, she loves the cup holder. I love that it seems so safe and sturdy!
Rated 4 out of 5 by PCNP07 Works for our lil princess
Easy set up (installed in less than 5 minutes in the Walmart parking lot) Baby girl seems happy and comfortable in the seat. (Hasn't fought to get into seat) Only negative is the Buckel guard slides up and gets in the way of buckeling the seat. (It's removable so it may have to go. However we have two of these seats, and the seat in my husbands vehicle doesn't do it.)
Rated 5 out of 5 by MommyOfHappy4yrPrincess Best Carseat/Princess Throne ever!!!
My four year old daughter is SOOO in love with her new Graco Nautilus Carseat! She loves it because she says it so super comfy and is so beautiful. She calls it her Princess Throne! She loves the bright vibrant colors and the cushioning and compartments for her toys.
I love the Graco Nautilus for making my daughter happy, but most importantly it keeps her safe. I did alot of research before I decided to go with the Nautilus. I found out this carseat has some of the highest reviews for safety testing and resilience. It was the only one I found that would last her until she is either 100lbs or just too tall for it anymore. It is also the only carseat I found that would keep her safely buckled into the five point harness until she is 65lbs. This is a huge deal to me as a mother to know that my daughter is in such a well made and well tested carseat! When I read the reviews from parents about how they had been in accidents where their cars had rolled over and their children had walked out unharmed I knew this was the product for me!
My daughter is happy and safe and that is ultimately the most important thing to any parent.
I highly recommend the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Carseat, Erica.
Rated 4 out of 5 by KVJM I love it, nice and easy to install. Only thing I don't really like is that the center seat belt clip is hard to snap into place at times. The other thing is that when my daughter falls asleep in the car seat, her head tilts forward. Wish the car seat could adjust more to tilt back, although it has where you can adjust it, I have it on the highest tilt. Overall it is sturdy and works great.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Elizabeth1324 Love it my son had the boy one just like it and he's still using the booster seat part.
Rated 5 out of 5 by KiaJayMommy Awesome Seat! last one you will ever need to buy!
I bought this car seat for my 15 month old when she grew out of the infant seat. I do have to say the seat is built extremely well ; definitely safe and sturdy. I think it has metal bars in the inside. It came already put together. The straps are very easy to adjust, all you have to do is push the button by the tether between legs and pull the straps. I love the cuby holes on the inside. My daughter likes to put toys in there. The buckles are a little tough to snap but no biggy.
I would have liked it to recline a little more so when she falls asleep her head does not fall over. It has a recline function but it just barley goes back. I think this is because the back comes off and turns into a booster seat when they get older.
Over all the seat is well worth the money as it will be the only seat you will ever need until your lil one can sit in the regular car seat. The back comes off so it turns into a booster seat up to 100lbs. and they can stay on the harness for up to 65lbs.
Don't hesitate! if its in your budget, buy it!
Rated 3 out of 5 by TheBrig Solid product
Impressed with sturdiness of construction and design. The LATCH system does its job well of securing the seat but could use an update like similarly priced models to ease the installation and removal process. The adjustable head rest is stable and easy to adjust. The seat's positioners for the vehicle's belt is well designed and secure. Rollers guide the shoulder harnesses in the back of the seat showing attention to safety details. Padding for the shoulder harness is nice but the extra padding for the clasp between the legs is not designed properly and is more comfortable when removed. Padding on the sides of the seat and head rest could be thicker, you can almost see the hard plastic seat through it. The clasp across the chest on the harness is a bit cumbersome to undo. This seat could use some improvements to be more than just a tool for a very important job.
Rated 4 out of 5 by MauiMommy2 Great Preschool-Age Car Seat
I own four Graco Nautilus car seats for my preschool age daughters. I recently purchased two in the Erica pattern from Walmart that were made in 2012. I also own two in a different pattern (made in 2010 and purchased from a different retailer.) Overall these seats fit my girls well with a lot of growing room. Between 2010 and 2012, Graco has made some changes to the Nautilus seat, some of which I am happy with, some I am not.
1. The top shoulder strap slot height for this car seat is very high, so my girls (38" high and 41" high) still have 2-4 years of growing room before they will grow out of the harness in this seat. Then they can continue to use it as a booster seat.
2. The car seats made in 2012 are a best bet booster according to the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) - meaning in booster mode this seat should place the seatbelts across the child properly in most cars. (The nautilus car seats built in 2010 had a different shape slot for the lap belt, and not as good of a rating from the IIHS.)
3. The harness adjuster is very smooth.
4. My girls love the pink color and the cupholder.
1. The buckle requires a surprising amount of force to click in. (the car seats from 2010 used a different buckle that is much easier to buckle and release.)
2. It is difficult to switch the crotch strap to the outer slot - and if you have a three or four year old, you definitely will want to use the outer slot. The larger of my daughters (36 lbs) is right at the outer crotch strap.
3. The latch straps use hooks to attach to lower anchor bars. This is not as nice as the push-on type connectors that you see in other seats (such as the Britax Frontier or The Evenflo Secure Kid 300/400.)
