    We love this crib!

My husband and I always make sure to do tons of research before making a significant purchase. Our goal is to find the best value and lowest price without going too cheap or flimsy. Now that we are having our first baby, we really wanted to make sure we bought quality furniture for our little one. A trip to a higher end baby store had a freaking out over the price of cribs and it was then that I decided to do some major research. I had my eye on this crib for a few months and after pondering it to death, we finally purchased it. All I can say is, we love it! We love the contemporary feel, the dark finish, sturdiness, and ease of assembly. Together we spent about an hour putting it together and not once did we get frustrated. Now that we have the mattress and bedding, I can't help but keep peeking into the nursery because I love how everything is coming together. To anyone who is looking for a quality crib but also wants to save serious money, I'd highly recommend this one!

This crib is also sold at Babies R Us and Target for much more $$. It took my hubby less than 2 hours to put it together. There was a review about how the box says not to be used for kids under 15 months. I want to clarify that is specifically related to the toddler bed. The crib is perfect for infants.

I love this baby bed. It only took me like 30 mins to put it together. I am also 33 weeks pregnant. I also have another bed just like this one but i different color for my son so i knew how to put it together. It is very sturdy and a really good bed over all. My 2nd son is not here yet to sleep it in but i do have a son that sleeps in a bed just like this one and he is 18 months old. I love how it has no moving parts due to all the recalls on some baby beds with moving parts. I have always bought graco products for my children and love everything i have ever bought. I recommend this baby bed to any expecting mother or a mom looking to buy a new bed.

    • No, which suprised me! I have a 2 yr. old son and his conversion crib has one. But, while shopping for a conversion crib for my daughter I had noticed that most cribs now don't have the side rail!

    • Since all sides are fixed, it can be a little difficult for a shorter person getting the baby into or out of the crib without having to lean into the wooden railing in the front. My daughter is 4'9 & she had a slightly more difficult time getting access to her baby than I did @ 5'3, but it's really not a big problem.

    • Yes. The mattress height is adjustable, mine is set to less than a foot from the top of the crib right now. I'm 5'2" and can reach baby even on the lowest mattress height.

    • We are wondering the same thing of all the new fixed side cribs. Our conclusion is that if it's a problem we will cut the legs down to make it shorter. Problem solved!

    • I am also 5' tall and haven't had any problems reaching my daughter, so far it is on the middle of 3 positions and I don't think I will on the lowest either. The picture makes it look very tall.

    • The crib has three positions for mattress height. I initially set it to the lowest position and it was difficult for my wife to reach our child. She is 5ft as well. I moved it up to the top most position and now she has no problem picking up the baby.

    • I am 5'2" and I will say its a little challenging with these new safety requirements for the fixed sides and they do not allow the crib mattress to be raised up any higher than it was in the old drop side cribs. After a c-section, you would have trouble b/c you will need to really stretch your torso to get in there...but under normal circumstances you will be fine.

    • On the higher setting it'll be easy once the baby is bigger he or she will go to you that's what my son does. It's a good crib my best friend is 5'2 and she can set my son down and pick him up
