Rated 5 out of 5 by Purplepeache4 Beauitful This crib is Beauitful. It is different from other crubs I have used. I have four kids and 3 grandchildren. I bought this crib for my fourth grandbaby that will be here shortly. Most cribs are high and have a sliding front panel that can sometimes wake the baby as you pull it up when baby is sleeping. Though this crib does not have that feature, I was a little thrown at first but as we put the crib together with little effort at all. Put the sheets and bumper pads on I thought this is great you don't have to lift up over a high railing or bring the railing up and wake the baby with a nosie sliding front. Overall easy to put together, beauitful crib, one they can use as they grow into as kids. 04/24/2010

It arrived via an 18-wheeler (who stopped traffic to unload my crib!).Love it already!!!Took my husband and I- neither really all that handy- about an hour, maybe hour and a half, to put it together. The only reason it takes a long time are these tiny metal pieces the screws anchor into. They are hard to maneuver into place. Besides those little buggers, everything went smoothly. The directions are clear, concise, and have a resealable envelope to save them in (this is important because we will eventually want to convert the crib...also, we saved the allen wrench in the envelope in case we need to tighten something down the road- small matter, but handy).When it comes to looks, though, this crib cannot be beat. I looked all over it for scratches or dents prior to constructing it but could not find any at all. The color is gorgeous- a smooth mix of dark, almost chocolate, wood with an infusion of cherry.We had almost purchased the Graco Lauren crib, but we chose this one because of the arched back- glad we did! The crib is an imposing piece of furniture- very solid. It looks expensive- right at home next to my grandmother's antique dresser.Highly, highly recommend! So much so, in fact, this is the first product review I have ever done. Thought I should share my pleasure with those of you who are unsure.Walmart price can't be beat either. Only took about a week for the crib to be delivered from Illinois.We bought a Sealy mattress and it fits perfectly- nice and snug (which means safely...). 04/16/2010
