Graco - SnugRide Infant Car Seat, Betsey 4.6 5 53 74
THIS REALLY DOES WELL IN CRASH My hubby and i got a graco snug ride for our oldest and was in a bad wreck ..while we were stopped the lady was doing 65 and rammed us full force, with our 9 month old in the back in his graco snug ride,rear facing, HE was not hurt AT ALL..Not even a scratch on him...although myself who was in front had to ride to er on stretcher!!! We are now having our 2nd child and I will NEVER EVER buy any other carseat,I am purchasing this right now!!! 08/07/2009
Cute and safe I like Graco products as they design their products well and do not charge ridiculous prices. This is our second SnugRide infant car seat purchase. The one we bought 3 years ago for our son was made before EPS foam was used so even though it held up well we felt the need to buy a new one for our daughter. As expected, this one was easy to put together and the base went securely into my wife's Mercury Milan without a problem using the Latch anchors. The seat also fits in my Subaru Outback with no problem. If you have multiple seats this is a good one to buy since it isn't as wide as some of the other brands (there's still plenty of room for the child). The design on the fabric is very cute without being too much. It is also nice that it comes with harness covers to keep the baby's neck from rubbing the belt.One other thought: we have a Baby Trend Sit and Stand stroller and this seat fits into it and properly latches into place. 07/23/2009
Expecting Twins! My husband and I are expecting twin girls very soon, so we chose to go with the Graco-Betsey SnugRide Infant Car Seat with Extra Base. We ordered two combo sets and this combo deal was perfect for us, that way we have 2 car seats and 4 bases. (2 bases for my car and 2 for his!) We just couldn't beat the price!First of all, the design and color are perfect. I was concerned that the colors may look different in person, but they were exactly like the pictures online.We had read reviews on this car seat, and alot of the complaints were that the straps to tighten around the baby were located in the back and not down between their legs. We didn't let that influence our decision, and I'm glad we didn't because when we got them in, it was a piece of cake to do!My husband installed them both in my car today in under 15 minutes! The bases fit perfect and are very secure. (we used the strap that comes on the base that attaches to the anchors in the car AND the seatbelt to make it extra secure!) The carseats snap in and out of the bases very easily! (I'm happy about that, because with two at a time, it would not be fun to deal with stubborn car seats!)We had the carseats shipped to our house instead of Site to Store, because we're expecting the babies anytime and we were concerned they wouldn't arrive on time! However, we placed the order on Monday and received them at our house on Thursday. The 2 extra bases are set to arrive tomorrow. (Monday) We ordered another product on Monday also that wasn't as pressing to get in and tried Site to Store for the first time. It came in a day after the car seats! (Friday) So we wish we would've have done Site to Store on everything to save shipping, but either way we got them in time and that's what counts!Almost every baby product we have purchased has been Graco, and we have had no trouble with them at all, so we trust this brand very much! Overall, this product is WELL worth the price and although our babies are not here yet, we are VERY happy with our purchase! 03/08/2009
No Problems! I had one just like this for my son that latest well beyond his use of it. A friends bought it from us and used it until her child grew out of it, also. There was no question what I would buy this time around for my daughter. It's easy to use, very convenient for hooking into the stroller or cart and obviously comfortable as my kids sleep in theirs all the time. No complaints what-so-ever! 08/06/2009
