love it! pandora, sirius capable, a little tricky to set up (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!) good sound and a GREAT PRICE, cannot beat it overall if you are a media junky. ths is not our first internet radio and we were shopping for a new one (just wish wal-mart had it IN STORE!) and $$$ wise this is a great bargain, ordered a second one and will more than likely get a couple more to scatter around the property while they last!

Wifi signal didn't hold. Getting a station to hold was disappointing. Walmart stopped selling the Vtech for some reason, that radio is awsome.

    • Yes, you can tune in international Internet stations. You can also link to your Pandora. Live365, and DAR.FM account and play anything from those services on your grace digital

    • It depends on your WiFi connection. Any station anywhere on this planet that is broadcasting on the World-Wide Web is at your fingertips.

    • Yes definitely. I listen to Sidney Australia often. Any worldwide station that has an Internet feed, should be available.

Can you listen to your local radio stations or is this just an internet radio (Pandora)? I am new to this kind of radio. I'm looking to place it in my office.
    by Sara 1/7/2013
    • Internet only. I heart radio may have your station. Many local station broadcast on internet radio. It also the weather channels.

    • It uses WiFi to access any radio station that broadcasts over the internet. Pandora is a subscription service that you have to pay for no matter what you use to access its content.

    • There is no antennae input for local stations. It uses you home wifi to pick up the Internet. If the local station has an Internet feed, you should be able to pick it up on the radio. There is one input jack in the back. The manual lists other input possibilities. Many local stations have Internet feeds.

    • This is not an FM radio. If your local station broadcasts on the Internet, you can pick it up.

    • It has lots of local stations available. The radio 'located' my city after powering up and provided a list of local stations available. As I clicked down the list, it added stations further away, up to hundreds of miles. Basically, if a broadcast station in your area has a Web feed, this will find and play it.

    • This is purely an internet radio, However, depending on the station, you can listen to those local stations in line.

    • It is an internet radio with network media streaming. It will not pick up FM stations. But if you know that your FM station has a livestream, you can do a search for it on the radio. You can stream any internet radio station, pandora, rhapsody, and others for free. It will also stream Sirius XM satellite (pay), iheartradio, NPR and college, NOAA weather, live365, podcasts, talk radio, etc. Easy to search by genre, location, etc. There are so many listening options! You will never be constrained to a limited selection of FM stations full of commercials.

    • Almost every radio station (AM & FM) is available to listen to "on-line". Check to see if the one you want to listen to is available via computer. If it is, I'm almost positive you could access it by this radio. I am able to listen to my local AM favorite that now come in static free. You can search by stations call letters, and also all available stations are listed near to far by your "home location" setting on the radio (auto detect or manually input your location). Very cool!

    • You need a DSL line from a phone company, internet connection from the cable company. For Sirius - you need a subscription to the service.

    • The radio stream data rate is very small. Standard high speed DSL or Cable should work without slowing down Net browsing at all. I don't think that Serius would be any different.

    • Cable 10MB stream will work. DSL must have at least 1 MB to work, and that may be iffy.

    • We have high speed internet from Century Link over the telephone lines and a modum and router from the provider.

    • First you must be a paid subscriber to Sirius XM. If you are not, this radio probably can get you the categories, genres you like to listen to by streaming from yourhome WIFI internet connection. If you do not have a wireless router you will need one.

    • to use this with sirius you need an account from sirius (with internet listening option) and a wireless modem, the radio is wireless and needs to link thru the modem, set one up in minutes for my 72 year old mom (bear in mind i am 48 and not a techno person)and it works great. you should have an internet connection of average speed, i have a lower package and typically it needs at least one capable of 64kbps, you do not need a super high speed package to stream internet radio (unlike video which takes a lot more speed to stream) hope that helps you.
