I took my son on a cub scout camp outing last weekend, and I knew the nights were going to be cold. So I tried to make sure we were warm during the night. It was 38 degrees Friday night and 45 Saturday night. Thank God for this blanket. I placed it in between 2 comforters on our queen size airbed and my son and I were able to get thru the 2 nights with no one getting too cold or even sick after the weekend was over. it does do what it says about retaining your body heat while under the blanket.GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE!!!! GO GET ONE. I will be buying more in the near future. 02/17/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Aengus Light, but will work for what I need. I needed three of these to cover the side/rear windows of my mini-van for camping. They are light enough that the bottom and sides will hold to the van with some magnets. I was going to use bungees to hold the top to the roof rack. I found that these blankets only have grommets on the corners, so I bought a tarp-grommet kit (with tool) from WalMart for $5 (I think) and added more grommets along the top of the blankets. So they do exactly what I need. 05/17/2013
