Rated 4 out of 5★ by doliemad good beginners its really a pretty good machine, not bad at all although just not as smoothe as i would prefer and sqeaks some, but i am enjoying it, for the price good buy, not hard to put together just time consuming about 2 hours! 03/05/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Wreakingmynerves Purchased in February of this year and just decided that I would make this part of my work-out routine. Great machine for the price. One has to be very careful putting it together and follow the directions as recommended. Machine is slightly noisy but it's not over bearing. I can still get a pretty good workout even with the slight squeaking it makes. 04/26/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by condor629 not good value I brought mine and use it daily, at first it seemed great, I was getting a good workout off it and slowly increased my workout time to where I was using it 30 minutes or longer a day, then I started to hear a weird sound coming from the rear axle, one day I went to use it and in the middle of a workout I increased the resistance and boom, the axle snapped and off to the garbage it went, in short , I'll never buy anything from gold's gym again. 12/21/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 Great For Price 3 stars due to shipping. Product arrived with broken plastic parts. Had to call manufacturer to get over $250 worth of replacement parts (free/covered). Manufacturer gets a thumbs up for cust service. Damaged parts were all cosmetic. Overall product is great for the price! 01/02/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by payne667 Not meant for long term use. I bought this machine to finally lose the weight I gained and be active. The fist few months with this baby and it was amazing. It has great exercise programs already pre programed into it. I was losing weight and everything was fine. Then came the 4-5 month of daily use (around 5-6 days a week) the first thing that went is the two arms. They both made this horrible creaking noise. We thought we should oil them a but sadly this did nothing. It got loud quickly my whole house could hear me working out. Finally around 8-10 months the pedals broke off the little spinner wheel. It was finally dead the way it broke there was no hope to fix it. The part that connects the pedals to the spinner snapped inside the spinner and there is no way to get those parts out without disassembling the whole thing. Combine that with the horrible noise it was time to finally throw this out.A lot of the good reviews are from a few months of ownership and I have to say the first few months are great. Yet sadly the machine just slowly falls apart and wears down. Not worth the investment in my opinion. 04/29/2013
Rated 3 out of 5★ by OnedayataTime87 Mediocre To put it bluntly, if you can afford a better machine, then buy a better machine. I wish I would have spent slightly more money on a machine after using this one for a few weeks. The machine itself is good for the small price-tag, but we have had issues from day one. First of all, the machine is lightweight, but because of this rocks from side to side slightly (and I am a tiny person, weighing only 125 lbs.) Also, we had to buy spray greaser to keep the thing from squeaking all the time. The worst problem is that when we purchased the item it came with a defective piece (metal welded where there should have been space for a screw to go.) My husband and I registered the product and were told that the replacement part would arrive in 7 days. Two weeks later when the part had still not arrived we simply swapped the part out at our local Wal-Mart store. With that problem solved, I would like to mention that it has now been three months, and the replacement piece never arrived. So again to sum it up, if you can afford a better brand, then head that direction; but if this is all you can afford, then it is a decent machine. 03/05/2012
