This is my second pair. First pair still going strong after 15 years. Well built and disassembles for packing.

Good Equipment

I have used these a half dozen times since I purchased and highly recommend them.  They are very stable, strong, light weight, and don't slip.  I trust them enough to do handstands and expect to get a lot more use out of them.  The grips are comfortable in my opinion and I have not noticed any strange smells.  The only issue I've had is that one of the covers on the feet of the stand fell off somewhere and was lost.  I didn't know these could be removed, so it is something to be aware of.  Even with the missing cover I haven't noticed any wobble or increased sliding when under weight.

these work as intended and cost less than the others i have used. i would recommend these to anyone wanting to get into better shape, regardless of how much money you are willing to spend doing it. these work great and are very inexpensive.

You get what you see

I have been doing P90X for about 8 months and decided to try these pushup stands. I am very pleased with the performance. They are stable enough to go super wide and not tip over. The price is great and the grips are very comfortable. Of course, the exercise is more difficult as the range of motion is increased. But that's the main idea. Also, with the large thumb screws, they could easily be disassembled for travel. Instructions were very clear and simple. This is a great product and at a very good price.

Great for the price. Easy to assemble and tale about. I take it along on trips. Just be careful using on a tile surface as the legs do not have any ribbed surface. All in all great value for the money.

I'm around 130 pounds, a heavy person might go with a version of this that isn't all plastic but I have no way of testing that.

Not bad

Definitely *not* non-skid.

While the bars are made of metal tubing, the feet are hard plastic.

First time getting down on the hard wood floor, hands about shoulder width apart, one unit slid out from under me ... *smooch* ... kissed the floor. I pulled the units in just a little more (to get more of my weight over the units) and then everything worked as expected.

As long as you have a good bit of weight directly over the unit (when on a hard floor - wood, tile) you should be fine. (Obviously (?) these work fine on a carpeted surface, too.)

I'm going to check out some of the other brands, see if I can find a unit with *truly* non-skid pads.
