Rated 5 out of 5 by No Shaving Cream Needed I love this razor. The five blades, and the moisture bars, give you a really close shave…without cutting yourself. When I first took it out of the package I wondered how it would work. The shape is a little weird, and the head is bigger than other razors. But it’s still very lightweight. And it’s nice not having the extra step of using shaving cream. It’s built right into the razor. The shower suction hook is a good idea but for some reason wouldn’t stay on my shower wall. But overall it’s a great product. 03/08/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This razor is great. I love that it doesn't require using a shaving gel but still manages to provide a close shave. The larger head was a little tricky to use at first, but it was fine once I got used to it. I was afraid I might nick myself trying to maneuver over certain areas like my knees but I had no problems at all. And the built-in moisturizers left my skin incredibly soft. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasantly Surprised I wasn't expecting to like this product, but I do. I like that I don't have to use shaving cream or soap to shave. The lotions in the razor is very mositerizing. My only complaints and the reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is the lotion don't last that many shaves and the razor is so large it is not good for tight spaces, like the under arms. The great thing about these Venus products is the different razor heads for the Venus products fix all the variations of the handles, so I can change the razor and use this handle for those tighter spots I want to shave. 03/16/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this razor! No shaving cream needed! I would highly recommend this razor. The head of the razor just lathers right up and you are good to go. It took a little getting used to because shape of the razor head but I got used to it really quickly. This would also be a great razor to take traveling - no shaving cream needed = 1 less thing to pack :) 06/14/2013

I was super happy with the result and did feel that my legs were def moisturized whilst shaving. Only negative is that the cartridges seem a tad expensive and you committing to buying them once you buy this razor! 06/13/2013

But i was quickly disappointed as the strips of the olay moisture were quickly gone and the blade got dull in no time:( not A product i will buy again will stick to my old razor. 06/05/2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by doesn't last very long I loved how my legs felt after shaving....the only thing is the olay strips fell off after a few days...i would have to change the blades way to much...and the blades are not excatly cheap lol..i will be going back to my old razor 05/24/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Blades dull way to fast!!! Well, I love 5 blade razors and always use Venus. This razor does give a very close shave and is smooth. HOWEVER, and this the # 1 downfall, the blades dull in no time!!! I mean, the Olay moisture strip lasts longer than the blades do! These blades are very expensive, so you expect the sharpest, highest quality razor that lasts long enough to feel like you're getting your money's worth. In reality, they only last maybe one, two weeks tops, if your lucky. 05/05/2013

Rated 1 out of 5 Doesn't last for the amount of money it cost! I have only used this razor two times and the moisture bars have already dissolved and falling off! The other razors in the line last 10 times longer than this one. It's not worth the money it cost to have something fall apart soo fast! 04/14/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A super close shave which leaves your legs feeling fab! The head of this razor has two strips on it which moisturize your legs so there is no need for any shaving creams. Just wet your legs and you are good to go! The shave is really easy, as the razor just glides over your skin, without leaving cuts or anything nasty. The quality of the shave is next to none, and the best I have ever experienced. It is really close and leaves my legs shiny, smooth and flawless. I couldn't recommend it more. 04/09/2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by The Good, The Bad, & The Hairy!!! I am a total razor snob, and have never blinked a false lash at paying the price for a good smooth shave. Venus razors has always been my choice. BUT with Venus & Olay 5 blade, I want my money back! Pros ~ Smells great, razor glides smooth & gives moisture to the skin Cons ~ You will not get a close shave. Blades will go be dull on second shave. These razors have to hang or you loose the moisture stripe (they will become gummy) I am going back Venus Embrace! 04/02/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Slimy and horrible shave. Subject says it all... The concept of this product looks good on paper, however, it was very poorly executed. When I saw Olay and Venus teamed up, I had high expectations. I use Olay products on my face everyday. I understand this razor is designed so that you don't have to use shave gel, but the "Olay moisture bars" feel like a sticky mess rather than a moisturizer. Because of these bulky Olay bars at the top and bottom of the razor, a smooth, close shave is a joke. There will be hair patches galore. 5 blades does more of a job of 2 or 3 blades if you're lucky. I also don't recommend getting the "sugarberry scent." It smelled like very artificial berries. I am going to try again with another Venus cartridge. This one was just a disaster. 03/16/2013

The smell of the Olay is lovely and doesn't have that horrible shaving gel smell. Legs were hair free and moisturised and lovely. Thank you Gilette and Olay 03/11/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Love this product, I have had the purple colored handled Venus shaver for a long time. I saw the Ad for the yellow one with Olay and wanted a change. When I saw it in person it is more of a gold color than a yellow, I was looking for a bright burst of sunshine for the spring/summer... who knows maybe they will make a lemon colored one soon! 03/10/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is just awful. Don't buy it. Maybe if it had 3 more blades. This thing is just awful. I have really had my fill of razors that have sixteen blades. Two is just fine. Maybe three. So now it's sixteen blades and a big huge lump of slimy stuff the size of my head. What does Gillette not get about women shaving lots of areas that aren't a big flat open space? I can't get sixteen blades and a lump of stuff in the weird shapes of my armpit and the back of my knee. Seriously! Why? Three blades, no gunk. Of course, there is the plus of the gunk disappearing and falling off in four or five uses. I just don't get it. What I wouldn't give for the good old days of little razors. 03/05/2013
