Works like a charm! I wanted to scan my entire printed photo collection so I could have a digital archive of everything and this bad boy swooped in to save the day. Getting started was a breeze. I scanned one picture after another on to my SD card before plugging the card to my PC to view my digital images. I found the preview screen on the scanner particularly useful as it was a good indicator for the quality of my scans. I also love the size. I tend to stay away from bulky electronics on my desk and love how it's small enough to fit in my desk drawer when not in use. 08/11/2011
Great photo scanner and does the job This is a great photo scanner. I recently bought it to replace one I bought at Brookstone that had lines in it and wouldn't go away. This one doesn't automatically feed so I lowered it to 4 stars. You have to press a button each scan which can get tedious after a thousand scans. It has a nice little lcd screen to check the pics which is good and the best part is the little cleaning wand. After a thousand pics I got lines in my photo scans. I cleaned it using the wand and presto... prefect again... I tried everything with the old scanner and those lines would not go away. So far so good. Another thousand pics to go.I also like that it scans large photos as well as really tiny ones. The price is great for what this is capable of and it is certainly can do the job of scanning old photos. 10/03/2011
Great for 8 pictures..... The device was fast and scan was ok.. Worked for first 8 pictures and then is started showing lines on all the scans. I cleaned the device several times, but it didn't help. Could have just been a bad unit, but I returned it the next day and put the money on a Epson V300 Photo, which has worked out great. 11/04/2011
I love this photo/document scanner. It scans relatively quick, the scan quality is good and very portable. These are qualities very important to my intended use for it. I have yet to see any drawbacks to this product. I bought it online and it came with a free 8 gig memory card that didn't seem to work. But I put my old memory card in and the scanner works beautifully. I'm very happy with it. 03/01/2012
