I purchased this bag to be used as my main diaper bag with my new baby (boy) who should be here in the next few weeks.
I used the site-to-store option for free shipping, which I LOVE! It arrived way ahead of schedule, and I had it within a week of ordering it online.
I really like this diaper bag, it's very cute - it looks like it could be just a purse, and not a bag that screams "DIAPERS INSIDE!!!" I am not a fan of cutesy animals or baby-ish looking bags!
I was a little disappointed that the bag did not come with any kind of cardboard insert or anything to keep the bottom of the bag sturdy/hold it's shape. I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not, but I did notice that it's hard to keep it's shape unless it's completely full at the bottom. I am going to remedy this myself by cutting a piece of cardboard to fit it and cover it with fabric.
The changing pad seems very nice, it has a seam down the middle (long-ways) so that you could even fold it up again in half, to take up even less space.
I fit quite a bit of belongings in the bag, prepping for my hospital visit. I ended up switching (for this first trip) to my jumbo Jeep brand "weekend bag," simply because I have three pouches of "going home" outfits in different sizes and I couldn't make all three fit in this hobo bag, along with blankets, diapers, etc. (People say not to take anything in the diaper bag for the hospital, because they provide you with everything you need, but we always have to stop at Walmart for last-minute items, and then we always go directly from the hospital to the grandparents' houses to visit, so I need STUFF!) :-)
I plan on breastfeeding, so I haven't seen if the side pockets work well for a bottle, but they do hold my ring-sling and my nursing cover up perfectly!
On the inside, there is a long pocket on one side, that holds the changing pad (of course, you could put whatever you wanted in it!), and on the other side there are two pockets, each half the length of the bag. These fit folded baby blankets, diapers, extra clothes, etc. (I tried many different things to see what I would like best there!
I really like the outside zipper pocket, it is just the right size to stick my cell phone, keys, a pacifier, money, whatever! Probably not my ginormous wallet - I would stick that inside!
The strap is a one-strap, adjustable - you could lengthen it and wear the bag like a messenger bag, or shorten it as a shoulder bag. My strap came straight out of the bag with a snag on it, and has one thread that just keeps coming and coming right out of the middle of it, but when I find my clear nail polish, I'll fix that up too!
The fabric of the bag seems like it will wipe-down very easily, it's not a slick plastic-y feel, though, but it's thicker than normal purse fabric, and seems like a waterproof type fabric.
:-) I definitely recommend this - the only reason I didn't give it the full 5 bars on "meets expectations," is because I feel it should've had some kind of stiff piece to go in the bottom to keep it's shape.
**I'm marking that I use this product "every few days, but keep in mind that my new baby hasn't gotten here yet so I haven't gotten to use it with him yet!**
