    • yes, just need to oil it after getting out of water and let the sheath dry out prior to putting the knife back in the sheath.

    • it will probably be ok as long as you rinse and oil it after use. even scuba diving knives rust if stainless steel and not rinsed after use. prolly cant say the same for sheath however.

    • Fresh water not brackish or salt. Be sure to clean and lubricate the knife anytime you have it in fresh water.

    • The handle is molded rubber to the tang, and the steel is high grade probably 440 or better, I would say it would be absolutely fine under water even sea water.

    • Any knife is ok underwater if you dry it off and oil it after use. It's handle is very "grippy" so it might work better than others.

    • Yes it will be OK in water but I would not recomend to leave it in water for really long periods of time.

    • This knife is made of rubber & high-carbon stainless steel. The blade can be used underwater such as in a river or stream. I don't know if it can be used in the ocean. If it is dropped or falls into salt water, retrieve the knife and immediately rinse it off with fresh water. As far as rust goes, stainless steel will eventually rust if the blade is not dried and cleaned. The only rust-proof blades available are titanium-bladed dive knives. But, titanium can be extremely tough to sharpen. So unless you are going into the ocean, this is the blade for you.
