my son is about the same height however he weighs about 120 and he wears a men's small.

My son is 11, 5ft 3in and about 140lbs and I bought him the young men size small and they fit well. Take your son's measurements and then look at the size charts and it will give you a general idea of what size you can buy for him. I hope this helps.

I would get a large young men's or a small man--this is what I got for my grandson who is d5'8 and weighs about the same as your son

I got the men's large size. I am 5' 6" and about 180 lbs and would not want it any smaller. So a medium may work.

Sounds like your talking about my son LOL, I buy my son adult size large, a medium would fit my son but abit too snug and he like to be comfortable so I get the large.

I bought this shirt for myself for work. The fit was right on. Seem durable and comfortable. Pique texture will add some warmth for winter with some extra layering. Has held up well with washing.

Purchased this shirt as a school uniform for a middle school boy. The quality is great. The shirt holds its color after repeated washings and shrinks very little. The fit is true to size in my opinion, but does stretch and shrink slightly when washed/worn. Great buy!

Great value for school uniform!

Purchased several of these for my 13 yr old grandson for school uniform. They arrived quickly, and look really nice on him!
Just throw them in the wash, and then dryer and they come out looking great! (I don't like to iron, and these don't need ironing if you take them out as soon as the dryer cycle is complete!)
I WILL buy uniform items from Walmart again in the future when needed.

These polo shirts are great! Many colors to choose from. I like that they are easy to care for, do not pick up lint, and keep their shape and size after many washings. I also like that you can choose different fabrics for different seasons so you keep cool in the warm weather with lighter fabrics, and warm in winter with a heavier fabric.

The George Men's Polo was exactly what I wanted.
