No belt loops on the GEORGE Classic Career Pant.

There are no loops on the "Classic Career Style" pant in petite that I purchased.

These do not have belt loops. I initially bought the curvy fit in the store, but I like these better. The curvy fit look like they go in toward the knee, and back out at the bottom. These are straight-leg, which I find look more slimming.

Unless they were the same price in the store they might not be the same fit as in the store. I did not like the way they fit. I have the Modern & London fit from the store & these are not the same. I was also looking for petite. I believe they did have belt loops but I returned because of the fit.

You are correct. There are no belt loops on the petite pants.

Haven't washed them yet but when I do will use low heat and not for long.

Slightly. When you first put them on from the dryer they'll be snug. As you move around they give a little but keep their shape. They are very comfortable and nice looking.

I have not noticed any shrinkage. I wash mine in warm with a shorter dry cycle that does not overheat the fabric.
(but a bit of length shrinkage would have been good for me as even petite requires more heel than I prefer.)

NO--as I said, I shortened them, washed and dried in the dryer at low temp for 20 minutes. Turned out the same as they did before I put them in. As I have to shorten about everything, it's safer to put them in a washer and dryer before trying to shorten.

No, the waist does not sit low. However about mid-rise.

I'm full figured so the waist seemed a little big for me, so they sit just below the waist for me, but I like that. If i were built with a slender figure, I would have had to go down a size. I ordered my size so if you are slender, order down, but if you like low waisted, stay true to your size.

They don't sit at a natural waistline, but they aren't too low either. They were about 1 inch below my navel. Hope this helps!

These pants fit me perfectly. The fabric is comfortable yet airy. I love the bootleg cut because it shows the right amount of my shoe at the bottom. These are the first pair if petite pants that truly fits my body type. I am gonna try to but them in every color that's available.
