you can tell by looking at it...same way if you fried the meat

For me this query was a learning process. IE trial and error. Since the grill doesn't have a heat control and cooking a wide verity of meats this is a real challenge. But it works well for me.

Not on this model. Tip for easy cleaning: fold 2 sheets of paper towel and wet thoroughly. After cooking and removing the meat and unplugging the grill, place the paper towel inside a few minutes and it will loosen the residue for an easier cleaning.

I purchased this for my Mother. She loves grilled foods but can't manage an outside grill anymore. She loves it. She tells me that it is perfect for one person living alone. But, she also tells me that she wouldn't consider it a 2 serving grill for most foods. It wouldn't be big enough for 2 hamburger patties or 2 pork chops, etc. So I would advise those that are truly looking for a grill big enough for two people, to think about purchasing the next size up.

Perfect for a single person

My older one was chipping off the coating. Used it for 5 or 6 years frequently. Moved to apt and had thrown away the larger one I had. Realized I needed one again and this is perfect size for me. On burger, chop, etc at a time. Already used it several times this week.

Not my first, loveit loveit loveit

I gave this grill five stars for it's good value with regards to cost. I have had other Foreman grills in the past. Small Apt. now only need this for hamburgers and drumsticks. More money gets one a larger grill and more features. This size works good for one or two people. Easy to clean.

Good value

This GF is perfect for small jobs. It fits one hamburger patty at a time with room to spare. I think 2 average sized patties would be to much for this. I have been able to cook salmon patty, thick cut porkchop and hamburger patty on it. It cleans fairly easily with a little scrubbing. Overall, I am very happy with this grill. Especially for the price.

What you should expect for the price

I had an old George Foreman, I believe when it first came out. It needed to be replaced, finally. Even though it still worked it was very hard to clean and the Teflon had wore off. I wanted the same size, found the 2 serving to be perfect. This one is light weight and heats up fast.

It is compact and works great.  You just plug it in and wait about 3 minutes and you are ready to grill.  It takes about 5 minutes or less to grill.  I wish I had bought one sooner.  I love this grill and would recommend it to anyone that wants to eat something fast and small.  It is also very easy to clean.

I live alone in a one bedroom apartment with a modest sized kitchen. The George Foreman Grill is the perfect size.

As soon as my Grill arrived I washed it and used it to make grilled veggie burgers and vegetables. I was ecstatic as everything came out beautifully grilled, crunchy veggies and cooked to perfection. Also makes a fabulous alternative to a panini maker with a ton more uses!

Heats up to the perfect temperature without having to fidget with any knobs or controls and cleans up in a flash!

I am an extremely happy consumer!
