My 4 yr old granddaughter was so excited to receive this to go with her bedroom theme of Hello Kitty

doesn't put out a lot of light, but makes a good night light

the lamp is cute and any hello kitty fan would love it. Just be aware that it is smaller then what it appears in the picture.

I got this 'Site to Store' delivered....super cool and avoid shipping costs that way. Anyhow the lamp is too cute. It seems well made for what it is, its glow may be a bit much for use as a nightlight, but it is pretty when lit. I gave 3 stars for 'appearance' because the 3 black, painted on whiskers are way off, crooked and the nose is twisted, but my 6 yr old isn't going to care about that on Christmas morning! Also this little lamp (less than 10" tall) sells for anywhere from $25 to $65 elsewhere online, so great price through Walmart.com!

Must have for any 'Hello Kitty' lover in your life

The first one I got, the switch to turn it on and off, broke. This one seems to work but it's too soon to tell. It's fragile but it's cute. The price is way too high for this item. It's worth more like 5.00,.and that's it.

Not to practical as a lamp, does not illuminate room that much. But will look very nice atop chest as a decoration piece.

Cute for Hello Kitty must have.

A bit smaller than I had anticipated and wayyyy toooo bright for a night lamp. Because the lamp is white, it glows so much that my daughter would rather turn it off to sleep, LOL. Also, the bulb or "something" burnt out within a week and it was impossible to get the screws out to look at the bulb. I returned it!

Had high hopes!!!!

When your bulb burns out, and of course it will, you will pull out your hair trying to change the bulb in this lamp. You have to remove 3 small, cheap, soft screws attached to a metal plate that is then mounted on the flexible rubber head. I managed to strip 2 of them almost immediately. The rest was comedy... Stay away, unless you're a masochist.

Pros? It looks cool for the month or so that it works.

Ridiculously difficult to change bulb.
