Rated 5 out of 5 by bluewhitefire Performs exactly as I expected I have had this GE a/c for about 2 weeks and purchased it because I have another smaller GE a/c that has worked well. This unit cools 3 rooms of my home very quickly, is not excessively loud and the remote control is easy to operate. Installation was not difficult but since the unit weighs over 100 lbs. it is best to have a helper to assist with installation. Remember that this is a 230 volt unit so you will need to have an electrical outlet that provides this voltage. 06/19/2012

Well needless to say our main window unit recently gave out so I got this one. Very energy efficient, I can run all 3 units and my electric bill is actually lower than it used to be just running our old 18500 BTU dinosaur. 08/02/2012
