Gazelle Edge Trainer 4.4 5 838 993
Used this before and bought it again! About 5 years ago i lived with a roommate who was never home.. so i was alone a lot.. and after graduating high school, i was at my heaviest 275. i was not happy with myself, i saw online about the gazelle edge, and the great price, i set it up and hopped on. i started eating smaller meals more times a day, and spent 30 minutes to an hour depending on how i felt, and a year later, i dropped 110 lbs. after moving out of that house, i had to get rid of the machine. 5 years later i got some gift cards for Xmas and decided to get this machine again so my family can set it up in front of the TV and just fast walk or run. seems like I'm the only one using it, oh well! its been 9 days now, and i keep track of the miles, minutes and calories, so i know what pace to keep up with. i noticed after 9 days my stomach is slimming down, and my legs are becoming less chunky. which is always a good feeling. but everyday 6x a day i work out 30 minutes. i set it up in my room, and watch the food network and by the time the show is over, so is my workout! i love this thing, and i recommend it to everyone. my little sister runs 2 miles everyday, and i cant do that with my knees, but i do 2 miles everyday perfectly fine on here at a fast pace. even breaking a sweat! works great if its raining, just come home, hop on for half an hour and trust me, a little goes a long way! 01/20/2010
Good Product I bought this machine about 3.5 years ago. Right before I got pregant I dropped 2 dress sizes in 2.5 months. After I had my baby, I was determined to lose the 35 pounds I picked up with my pregancy plus an additional 30, and decided to join a local gym thinking I'd get a better workout. After about a month of working hard at the gym, I noticed I wasn't seeing the results I did when I began using he gazelle. I thought it was that tough baby weight every woman who's had a baby talks about. I didn't have any more time I could spare to go to the gym with a newborn, so my husband encouraged me to try the gazelle again. Needless to say that was the best decision I made. Not only was I able to lose the weight I wanted to (plus an additional 5 lbs), I was able to work out more frequently, and I'm able to maintain my weight without leaving my home. This machine helped me lose weight and tone at the same time. And best of all... IT'S QUIET!!!The materials used for this machine are good materials, because I've used this machine the entire time I've had it (give or take 12 months) and it works as good as the day I bought it.This was an awesome buy!!! 12/28/2009
Great for beginner strengthening I purposefully chose this without resistance to begin regaining my stamina and to assist my son with cerebral palsy (17) the opportunity to move his legs and also have something to hold onto since his balance control is an issue. I love to use it and watch TV at the same time. I will definitely need to upgrade to resistence after I have built my satmina to keep moving. Very sturdy and well built. Can be put away for storage. I recommend this product for seniors or someone who needs to move without a lot of muscle building needed. 12/19/2007
Great Workout I bought the Gazelle a few months ago and I think it's great. I get the cardo I need without the broken knees and sore feet from jogging or walking. Both are great but not for me. The Gazelle is a step just below an eliptical but still does the job. Just doesn't break my bank account like an eliptical would. I incorrporate the Gazelle cardio with my lifting routine by doing 5 minutes on it to get my heart rate up, then do a lifting set of some targeted area like biceps, then jump back on the Gazelle for another minute, do a lift set, and so on. I find myself working out harded and getting more out of both my muscle training and cardio at the same time. I up to doing 3 miles in 31 minutes now because I am going so much faster each minute to minute and a half to keep my heart rate up. When you do a straight 30 min cardio, you tend to slow down half way in and not even realize it. Mostly because you are bored. The Gazelle is perfect for my new weight training and cardio plan that I do because it's so easy to use and getting on an off isn't tricky like the eliptcal can be. Great machine, great price, great workout. Easy to assemble too. Some reviews say it was hard. If you can use a screw driver and an allen wrench then you should be able to do this. Get it. It's great. Easy to store too. 08/30/2009
