I decided to try a Garmin and am glad I did.I like:1. the way it is easy to remove from the mount so I can lock it in the glove box so it's not so easy to steal.2. how it finds the gps satellites so quickly3. how it takes me down sensible routes (unlike the TOMTOM)4. the 5" screen is nice and big without blocking the windshield5. the lane assist is very clear6. voice command feature is awesome. You speak the address so you can change your route while you drive. Love it.I haven't found a voice that I really like yet but I'm still looking.Shipping was very quick and Walmart's price on this item was better than anywhere else I looked. 02/26/2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by ric777 Very nice features I really like 2460LMT GPS unit. Unfortunately, our refurbished unit arrived with a distorted speaker. In my tests, all of the other components worked well though; and we were reluctant to return it because the 2460 performs so much better than our previous Garmin which was stolen. We are in the process of returning the unit to Walmart and getting a replacement.My wife is very poor with directions, and she really likes the street sign that displays about 3/4 mile before the junction turn, along with the lane assist which shows which lane you need to be in. Our GPS screen splits into 2 views when the junction sign appears where the right side displays the street sign; the only drawback is that the right screen will display one junction sign, but it isn't always correct ramp sign you're being directed to take. The advertisement pictures I've seen show the multiple street signs with the alternate routes grayed out in full screen mode; maybe there is a settings option for full screen which I don't know about where it will display all the junction signs?The biggest plus with the 2460 is the bluetooth feature! You can navigate and call on your phone by just talking to it while driving. Once I hooked up my phone's bluetooth to the Garmin, it activates automatically everytime I get in the car and my whole phonebook is accessible through voice commands. And once you know the navigation voice commands, it's easier to navigate than typing, usually quicker, and it is much safer; a minor drawback is that after the navigation volume goes down during a phone call, it doesn't seem to return the original volume when the phone call finishes. The voice recognition works pretty well minus some pronunciation differences. I won't buy another GPS unit without bluettooth! 02/18/2013
