Garmin dezl 560LMT 5.0" GPS Navigator 3.8 5 7 8
Worth the extra money if you have RV or Truck I own an RV and had a Nuvi before. It was hard to hear voice directions, screen was a bit small, worst of all it thought I was in a car. This dezl 560MLT routes you according to vehicle even considering multiple trailers. Many choices to customize including entering height, width, & weight. I have not been caught in a tight place yet the Nuvi put me in several. The bigger screeen is great and the voice volumn is at least twice as loud as the standard car models I have had. Well worth the higher price. Wal-Mart had the best price. They even beat the Garmin outlet store price for reworked units. 06/07/2011
The Good and Bad of the Garmin dezl 560LMT 5.0" GP The Good:1 Screen size, colors, view, and volume which is very loud, I can finally hear a GPS Navigation unit over the sound of my tractor trailer on the Highway with having the windows rolled down.2 Warning prompts work well in truck settings, MPH, Curve, Low over pass, weight limit roads, detour, etc.3 Very large key touch screen key board for typing in your destination.4 Very quick navigation, and reroute time. The Bad:1 Bluetooth sound is terrible, being a distorted sound.2 Navigation on Truck settings could be better, their are easier more direct routes when using for street navigation then what is computed. But it will get you their, just a different route.3 Price is kind of steep for this unit $440.00 plus tax, $300 is about what I think its worth.4 Should include a screen cover bag for the price, and a window suction cup mount, which I had to buy both separate from a different seller, Wall-mart did not carry these accessories.I ordered this product online from Walmart, lowest price I found. Excellent online notification, and on time delivery to the store where I picked it up from, But...........Terrible Store Pick Up time, waited a 1 hour with no one else on line at the pick up desk because they did not know where it was located in their store, mind you it only came off the truck 2 hours before I picked it up. This is a Individual store issue of being unorganized at the Freehold NJ store location.Bottom line: Over all I am somewhat happy with this unit, because it does keep me off routes I do not belong on with a Tractor Trailer. 07/30/2011
Worth the money This GPS is worth the money. You get free traffic and map updates. The speaker is extremely loud.i have no complaints for this GPS. 04/20/2011
I pull a 24 foot enclosed car hauler and wanted a trucker GPS to keep from being sent down neighborhood streets. I have only used it once and the only problem was it tried to send me the wrong way on a one way street. I will use it for a longer trip to Reno, NV shortly and hope it does better. The reviews for this GPS were good and although not an inexpensive unit I hope it will satisfy my needs for many years. Wish it would have come with a windshield mount and not just a dash board pad. I also haven't figured out how to hook up a back-up camera to the device. Instructions are very skimpy and I can find no source for more complete instructions. 07/23/2011
