    The best trucking gps period!! I have been on the road for about 26yrs and have gone through all the gps units including the teletype what a bust that was! I am now in 7th heaven with this unit works well (not perfect) it has it's issues but as long as we report things they are corrected quickly and it already works pretty darn good! The other units I tried that were supposed to be for trucks were horrible sending you all kinds of crazy ways not good this unit rocks warns you of sharp curves,high cross winds and where the scales are it also includes lifetime traffic with automatic reroute if there are bad enough issues!! If you drive for a living this is a must! 08/15/2009
    Nuvi 465T--Disappointing When I heard about Garmin's release of it's truck GPS navigation system, I was excited to give it a try. After two weeks of usage, I find myself very disappointed--especially when I think of the amount of money I spent on it. To start with, the voice quality is terrible and the volume is poor when you consider the background noise that is generated by a moving truck. Several times it has tried to send me down roads that were posted "No Trucks Allowed." It seems to be especially prone to this when the "detour" function is selected. Consequently, my "confidence level" in following it's route is severely shaken. It tried to send me down one road where there wasn't even a road. Even though my truck profile contains an 80,000 lb GVW, it sent me across bridges with 70,000 lb limits. For a unit costing $500, I expect better than this!!! 07/08/2009
    Truck driver review Only had one week. First trip out voice like Charlie Browns Mom. Emailed Garmin. Used Garmins website did firmware upgrade and additional voice software update .Problem was corrected unit now works great.Garmin tech support is very good. I emailed them and they responded in a day .This thing finds truck stops I love it! Of course being a new product I figured there may be some software issues.But Garmin is on it.I had a nuvi 760 was able to transfer all of my favorites to 465t using free download. easygps. Garmin tech support will also tell you how to do itjust email them. 07/19/2009
