Rated 5 out of 5 by Pgh1Shopper Great Flexible Mount and Case I ordered this to replace the suction cup mount which leaves a tell-tale mark on the windshield helping thieves know that a portable GPS device is potentially inside the car. My car is a Honda Civic which has a dashboard without any flat surface. This mount does well conforming to the curves of my dashboard. I had to move it around several times before I settled on the best position. It seems to be stable, although I haven't yet slammed on the brakes to see if it stays put. It keeps the shape I molded it to and hopefully won't lose too much of the stickiness due to picking up lint and pet hair from inside my car. When I park, I just move it to the floor.The case holds my Garmin Nuvi 3490 due to the elastic closure, but the device is not entirely inside. The case doesn't have room for any cables. It's just for the Garmin which I suppose I could then use as a handheld device. 01/21/2013
