I would have to say no, based on it's size and backing.

No, this is more of a good area rug. It is large and formed to shape. It is easy to keep clean though and I think would take to spot scrubbing .

I think the rug is too large to machine wash. Just vacuum and steam clean it if need be. I bought the Burgundy one.

I would say not... it has a very stiff bottom. Spot cleaning is the recommmendation.

I would think you could use a carpet cleaner on this rug. It vacuums up very nicely and lays flat unlike some rugs I bought.

No, it isn't. It cleans up well with dawn dish liquid and water, however!

It is too huge to put into a washer. Regular vacuuming/sweeping and spot cleaning will do just fine.

Great carpets (we bought 3 different carpets all called burgundy) but the pics are deceptive regarding the color. We were looking for a burgundy/ maroon color. What you get is actually more on a deep purple with a hint of red to it.. which is pretty..We used this in the basement so it wasnt a big deal.. however, if you need/want a true Burgundy/Maroon I'd avoid the "burgundy" carpets carried by WM.

I ordered two burgundy rugs, they match in color and are a pretty burgundy color with a real dark, almost black, mingled in with it. I love them!

The burgundy area rug is a reddish-purple color. It is true to the picture on line and is exactly what I wanted the color to be.

This rug does not have a skid back. I purchased a skid liner for mine and it works great.

There is a backing but not a rubber backing- Its just has the normal stiff backing of a rug- unless you are placing say a Table over the rug it might slide- I have my table over it, so its not going anywhere and I didnt purchase a rubber backer.

If this rug is going on a hardwood floor, I would say buy a non-skid liner.

If it is going over carpeting, it is fine the way it is.
