This stringer is good value for the money.
The composite clamps are hard to open.

The Diamond coated string gripper started slipping after stringing only 6 rackets. Maybe this product is defective because others claim that slippage only occurs after stringing about 100 rackets. I only strung 6 rackets so far and the string gripper is already slipping...

I found getting started diffuclt due to the instructions not being easy to follow.
Once I googled the topic of racquet stringing and read a few tutorials the instructions made more sense.
I would suggest to the company that they invest in a DVD tutorial.
On my second attempt, the racket was strung. The stringer works fine and I am happy with it. The tennis shop charges 45 bucks to string my racket with premium string. So I'll save 30 bucks each time I string the racket myself.
Hope this helps.

Maybe it's just me, but the design of this stringer is awkward and made stringing a lengthy process. Great price, but the added time to get the job done makes me want to return it and get a better one. Quality of parts is very good, however.

Buying one of these stringers is a great value. Stringing itself is not too difficult once you learn it, and you will save a lot of money stringing yourself. The initial outlay for this is not that bad either, so it pays for itself pretty quickly.
The quality of these stringers is good enough that I am satisfied stringing my racquets on it, and occasionally when I string friends' racquets, I get no complaints for tension being off or anything. Also, I have strung ~50 times, and no slippage from clamps yet. When they do start to slip, I will just buy replacement clamps.
I personally bought this from a different place, where it comes with a stringing manual as well, which actually teaches how to string. From Walmart, you will only get the machine's manual.
