Rated 5 out of 5★ by Mrscos The Greatest Kaiju Films ever in one set! The Film:If you are a Godzilla or Gamera fan, you owe it to yourself to own these films! This trilogy blows the late Godzilla out of the water and transcends the B-Movie barrier to become excellent cinema all around. Great effects, great story, memorable characters, and an epic score by Kou Otani (Haibane Renmei) make for a phenomenal show. One final note: These films are not R Rated despite their listing, they are unrated. There is hardly any swearing, and violence is about PG-13. So if you are a parent, no worries. The Package:Gamera 1&2 are on one blur-ray, while Gamera 3 is on the other. All the films look great, and the audio has the option of english or japanese. My only gripe is that for some reason Gamera 3 has timing issues with the subtitles. It's not horrible, but its irritating to hear someone speak and then the subtitles show up 10-15 seconds later. Of course, this can be remedied by watching the dub. The subtitle problem was addressed by Mill Creek, so I do not know if the other copies are affected, but mine was.The Bottom Line:Buy these and you will not be disappointed. Gamera is the new king of kaiju. 09/06/2012

Rated 5 out of 5★ by newtzilla Best kaiju on bluray These are still movies from the 90s but they look better than DVD. The revival of Gamera in the 90s was a great surprise and so are these blurays for way less than I paid for DVDs years ago. 01/08/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Berkana18 Gamera better over time Not a bad set for $8. The sound and visuals are very clear. The first film is best enjoyed if you can read Japanese....I can't but a good flick anyways. The second and third are better as far as the subtitles and English dubbing. This is a great set for all Gamera fans! 05/26/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Ralph124C That's some GOOD Kaiju! In all three movies, people say the things you have been shouting at the screen. The guy in the suit makes Gamera look tender, agonized, grim, and betrayed. You see what happens to people on the ground when the big guys are fighting. The plots are tightly written and thoughtful. All three movies are better than the 21st Century's 'Pacific Rim' and 'Godzilla.'Long live Gamera. 08/22/2014
