Gallop & Ride (Wii) 4.2 5 4 5
First Wii Game Hello to the person reading this review. This was my first Wii game purchase. I am a 23 year old female who is not big into video games. My husband had wanted to get me a game for our Wii that I could enjoy. I wasn't sure what kind of game to get, till I did a search online. When I found this game and read the description I wasn't sure what to expect. This game is exactly as the it said, you do everything at your own pace and it is very realistic. You have to feed and care for your horses, as well as the rest of the business. The hardest part was learning the Wii remote, but once you get the hang of it (or just change the control settings) its alot of fun. I would highly recommend this game for all horse lovers of all ages. Thank you for taking the time to read my review 01/17/2009
Not too bad My 4 year old daughter was really excited to play this game but it was a little too hard for her. I helped her with it and enjoyed playing this game. There are parts where its very boring, you have to wash the horses every day and pick dirt out of the hooves, which is very time consuming and mindless. All in all its a decent game 05/23/2009
Fun, but didn't last too long I really do like this game. I was really excited when I first began playing it, but as I progressed quickly in the game, all of the little tasks that were really fun to do in the beginning of the game began to be very tedious. My advice, don't try to progress within a short period of time...get's boring quickly, but a fun game if you like time managment games and horses! 05/12/2009
I bought this for my 6 year old, needless to say hard to understand for her....So I play it. I like the game but have a hard time training the foals, the directions in the booklet are different then what they give you on the wii, plus on top of that once you collect everything like horse shoes and points for the first star it's very hard to get to the second star when you cannot earn anymore money because you can't figure out the training of the foals...I will get it eventually. It's kind of hard for kids, my daughter gets very frustrated when playing it. I would recommed this, in a way it is realistic, you need to care for and clean your horse daily otherwise it will get sick, plus it has the movements of a real horse, also the rider actually moves really good while riding the horse, she has the correct movements when riding. So yes I would recommend for anyone over the age of 10. 01/15/2010
