There is no power adapter included, whether there used to be one included or not in the past, I do not know. But there was not one in the box that I just purchased, nor is there indicated to be one in the manual. It only comes with the USB cable, auxiliary cable, and rechargeable battery. There is not even a location on the unit to plug in a 110v cable.

I use the GOgroove in a large open work space and the sound fills the room. the GOgroove is easy to use and the compact design makes it the perfect travel speaker system. I love the ability to play music from a variety of digital storage devices which gives me more options if I want to save the battery on my phone or MP3 player.

A great little speaker with big sound.

I just got this little box and I am amazed at the sound quality it delivers...Nice clear highs and good bass. I expected something to be able to play music from my Mp3 player and I got a whole lot more. This little thing sounds great for its size and can also play Mp3's directly from a SD card or flash drive. Okay, you only have the ability to pause/play or skip/back songs but, if you have a SD card with music you want to play through, this box will go on like a champ. And it remembers the last song played when you turn it back on.

For less than $20.00, you can't go wrong with this GOgroove box.

Wow! This Little Box Rocks

The search is over for a portable, perfectly-sized, boom-box sounding speaker box that accepts SD card, USB stick, or any other sound source thru 3.5mm stereo jack. I have owned probably 4 other speaker boxes of this type previously from direct-connect to Bluetooth speakers but this one smokes them all with its room-filling 6W RMS output. I'm no audiophile but it seems to have very good dynamic range and punch to its bass (it pushes a lot of air thru a rear porthole). The supplied battery lasts about 3 hours at medium volume. I've replaced it with a Baixt® Brand New High Capacity 2500mah Standard Li-ion Spare Replacement Battery for Nokia (BL-5C)

Awesome sounding speaker!!!

To level set, the sound from this small speaker is not big and will not fill a room - you'll need something like an Ion Audio Tailgater to achieve that. However, for music while sitting at the desk or on your bedroom nightstand after a hectic day - it's perfect and more than adequate, especially at this price point. It will also help to have high quality MP3 files. My MP3 files are no smaller than 224kbps which is why I probably haven't experienced distortion at mid-to-high volume levels. All-in-all it's a quality product that performed above my expectations.

Great sound for a small package

For a little stereo system, I'm honestly shocked how great it is. The sound quality is awesome simply because this little guy has some umph in it. Hooked my laptop to the tv and plugged this to my laptop to watch a tv show on a bigger screen and you would've never thought the sound was coming out of such a tiny box. Love that it's easily portable and it recharges sort of like a cell phone would. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Just be careful with the battery door, I can see how someone would break it.

Unexpectedly Great Quality

Big sound from a small speaker!! Rechargeable battery lasts a long time and the quality of the sound is excellent!! Would advise using a equalizer app if using with a smart phone or tablet. Improves the sound that much more!!

I searched online forever to find a gadget that could play music from a flash drive. FINALLY, I found this thing. The price was great and the description made it sound like what I was looking for. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it - much quicker than expected. I could not wait to try it. I plugged in the flash drive and lo and behold it began to play the MP3 tunes on the drive. Not only that, the sound was really great compared to other little external speakers I have heard. Very portable, great volume, excellent sound. It also plays music from other devices as described, but I love my flash drives! Thanks to the inventor of this strange little box - outstanding!!!!!
