You Gotta Buy This waffle iron is great for cooking two nice size waffles. I bought the Chef Choice Waffle Mix on line at: onlinestores.com. The Waffle Iron is Great!!.. It cooks on the second level and a half within 3 minutes or so. Be careful not to overflow the waffle iron and if you do you can gently wipe and clean it up while cooking is in the process. Once I get the right recipe and get that eggy sweet taste like the Chef served me at my church one morning.. I'm good to go. Make no mistake.. Be gentle with this Waffle Iron and you will get Great Results. It is small and unique. It gets very hot. Don't forget to grease it one time before your first use and you are on your way. Also you can microwave or stovetop some melted butter to make it easier for the butter to go on top of your delicious "WAFFLES". I recommend this product very much. Be gentle. Since others said that theirs broke, I was gentle and nothing broke. It cleaned up well also. What can you expect from the price you bought it for? It is Great, Enjoy...... 02/22/2009
My sister received this for Christmas, I was the 1st to use it for her & I was very pleased with the overall results. I liked it so much my sister bought me the same waffle maker.Removeable plates would make for easier cleaning but the waffle maker doesn't get messy after using so maybe that's not too big a deal.Great product! Not Impressed I bought this from the store as I was in need of a waffle iron quickly and didn't have time to wait for shipping. I was thoroughly disappointed. The first time I used it the handle broke, and even though I am able to put it back in place, it pops off every single time I've used it since. Otherwise, it is serviceable enough, and I will at least get my money's worth out of it before I upgrade to something better (larger, cooks more waffle, stays in one piece). 03/17/2009
Very Disappointed Bought this for my husband for xmas. Used in a couple times, was decent then all of a sudden the closure tab went flying across the room while waffles were cooking! We did not have too much in it at all ... anyway it's going back and hopefully I can find a better one. 01/15/2009
