Rated 5 out of 5 by Snausages Very good product; price makes it great My kitchen sink is situated in a perpetual, gloomy shadow, and I just couldn't deal with it any more. I installed this light directly above it, and only then could I see the rainbows reflected in the chrome and the unicorns in the suds.I mounted the light below the cabinets, about 18 inches above the rim of the sink. It's perfect. If you're trying to illuminate a surface MORE than 18 inches from the light source, perhaps consider something brighter.Lastly, if you're mounting this in a kitchen (or bathroom?) with lots of shiny surfaces - sink, tiles, glass things, etc. - the LEDs are especially attractive. This fixture provides an even, clean light that brings out the sparkle. 05/19/2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dcdi Not so Bright Great clean, white light to replace my florescent yellow-ish one. These lights are low-profile, so fit nicely behind the lip of the upper kitchen cabinets. The price was right - about $20 each from Walmart.com. (Their competitor had the same light for $30.) I would have given higher marks for value, but my one old florescent gives out more light than 3 of these LEDs. Now I have more lights, but less light. 01/08/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by missilebuilder Very nice appearance and solid construction. I've had two for a year. I mounted one under the cabinet and had the second as a back-up. I've ended up using the second one as a drop (service) light when working under the sink cabinets to under the car's dashboard. No heat and plenty of light in tight places. Picked up two more in preparation of remodeling the kitchen. 10/27/2012
