GE 4 in 1 Griddle Grill - excellent choice! I have looked into many griddle/grill combos, but it is very difficult to find one that has removable cooking surfaces. This GE product does! The closest competition was a $99 unit I found at Sears, but this unit was half the cost and the cooking surfaces "pop right off" for easy clean-up.I have even placed the plates in my dishwasher (top shelf) and the non-stick was not damaged. All in all I rate this product as excellent! 07/03/2011
not what i was hoping for I will start by saying that it looks better then it cooks. I made hamburgers on it right after it was given to me for Mothers Day. It DOES NOT drain the grease. It just sits on the tray which is like making them in a frying pan, grease popping out the sides and down the back. I have a hamilton beach that does a way better job than this GE. Very disappointed. Its going back to the store TOMORROW. 05/09/2011
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I am so in love with this product. We use it all the time, to make pancakes or french toast on the griddle, burgers on the grill, and paninis at home, too! I have never had a problem with the drip cups melting; I think as long as the cups aren't TOUCHING the hot plates, you're fine. The plates, scraping tool, and drip cups are all dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a breeze. And it's easy to choose your temp, anything from warm to sear, and grill or griddle. Only makes french toast! I asked for a griddle for Christmas. My husband took my list and went shopping. I got this griddle/grill and was thrilled! It has changable plates, many settings and opens up for pancakes, eggs and french toast! Looked great! My husband and I have cooked several times and it does not cool evenly! It won't drain the grease unless you prop up the back legs and even with that, You have to be sure that one leg is higher than the other just to get the grease to run to one side to drain! I am so disappointed in this product it isn't even funny! I would not recommend this product to any one!! 01/17/2011
