I liked the design and I liked the cleaning feature so I bought it.Big mistake! It leaks,the programming was difficult but did figure it out.Set it to come on in the morning,first time it didn't turn on,second time it came on 4 hours early!And yes,I had it programmed right.This morning put in water for 12 cups only got 10 cups back.Avoid this product,it's evil LOL

I brought this thing home and the display with the buttons (which is just one big sticker) was loose. I looked over that and started using it. It worked great until I set the auto to make a pot of coffee for my father-in-law. He got about half a cup of coffee and couldn't figure out how to make it brew more so he unplugged it. After that, it stayed on the feature that brews on 30 seconds and off 30 seconds to make stronger coffee. I tried everything the manual told me to get it off this setting (including unplugging it, which was what my father-in-law did after the first time this happened), but to no avail. So in order to get a full pot of coffee, I have to stay with it and turn it off and on again every 30-60 seconds. I called GE. They didn't know why this was happening and told me to just return it. I will...and I will NOT be getting another GE!!

I bought this coffeemaker and I hate it! I love strong coffee and this maker makes a very weak brew. I have to add way more coffee than I normally would just to make a decent pot. Don't waste your time!!

After receiving this machine as a Christmas gift from my husband I attempted to locate the charcoal filters so I could have them on hand once it was time for a replacement. No luck, our walmart doesn't carry them and couldn't find them online. That's when I read all of the negative reviews. I kept my fingures crossed and hoped that mine would be different. No such luck, after less than 3 weeks it has quit working. It just sits there mocking me and laughing at my desire for my morning coffee. Same as other folks, it has power and just won't do anything. I unplugged it for awhile in an attempt to reset it and now the minute function on the clock won't work. Hope my husband kept the receipt as it's going back to the store. It's too bad as I really liked it when it worked.

My wife picked this coffee maker up for me because it has nice fetures and looks good. Once she got it home I plugged it in, set it up and tried to run a pot of water through it to clean/test it out. The machine ran about 1 cup of water and quit. I tried six more times and each time the coffee maker ran approximately the same amount of water, gave two beeps (indicating the brew cycle is complete) and stopped. What good are nice features and good looks if I can't get a cup of coffee from it. I will be returning this product and getting a Mr.Coffee model that has the same features but costs a little more. As long as I can get a cup of coffee in the morning it will be worth the extra cost.

I purchased the 12 cup programable coffee pot and at first was very pleased with it. It was exactly what my family was looking for. Although when it came time to replace the charcoal water filter I found that they can not be purchased anywhere. I was disappointed that a store would carry a product and not the accessories to go along with it. The filters could not even be found on line. I feel like this was a purchase that needs to be replaced at the time of filter change. What else are you supposed to do. Not enjoy your cup of coffee. Was it just a waste of money? Feels like that to us.

I bought this coffee maker 2 months and 3 days ago, and until this morning I have been quite pleased with it. This morning it simply did not turn on. The clock works and the "on" button lights up when you push the button but the machine doesn't make coffee. I like the looks of the unit and it's functions, especially the adjustable heat level to keep the coffee warm. This unit makes the best coffee I have ever had from an auto drip type machine. Since this unit has a 2 year warranty ( twice as long as most coffee makers) I'm going to return the unit for a new one, today.

I bought this product because I liked the way it looked and some of the faetures it advertised on the box. We used it about a week and then decided to set it up for auto program so we could have coffee ready in the morning. Everytime we did this we would wake up with a puddle on our counter top and only about 1/2 the water we put in the night before brewed. We returned it and got something else. AVOID THIS PRODUCT IT LEAKS! and by the looks of other reviews it was not just my product it was others too so it looks like a design flaw.

I bought the coffemaker because it was inexpensive, had all of the features I was looking for, was a brand I could trust...etc. Big mistake! I literally took the machine out of the box and immediately had problems with it. The water tank LEAKS. When I say leaks...I mean every drop of water that I pour into it leaks out of the bottom and all over my counter top!? It appears that I have thrown good money after bad on this one. Please consider spending $10 more and getting a coffeemaker that will actually function for you! Best wishes!

I haven't even had this coffee pot for 2 weeks and it's already stopped working. I liked the look of it and after reading the boxes of all the coffee pots on the shelve, I thought it would be a good product for the price. I got it all ready this morning, hit the start button, and nothing happened. It clearly doesn't need cleaned, as it's not even been used for 2 weeks yet. I am very disappointed in this product. I expected better from GE than this cheap excuse for a coffee pot. Do not waste your money on one.
