Fresh, Healthful Juices, At Your Fingertips!!!

    Customer review by Cherylk2011

    5.0 stars by Cherylk2011

I don't know where to begin! I am VERY IMPRESSED! As a certified raw and whole foods nutritionist, I have owned and used several juicers, and also instructed others in the same. I can say without hesitation, the Fusion is, by far, the best in its class as far as value, performance, ease of use, and most importantly...end result! *Whisper quiet motor-even much quieter than other juicers when extracting hard items like carrots and beets! * Easy assembly and disassembly for cleaning! (A major plus in my book!) *Does not produce heat during extraction to cause nutrient loss! * Extracts maximum amount of juice from foods (as is evidenced by nice dry pulp in container) *Dripless spout and pulp collection container keep your work area clean, and easy to clean up when finished! *Lots of great recipes and tips in the included recipe book and CD! To summarize- for the money, this is a great juicer and a welcome addition to any kitchen! It deserves every one of the 5 Stars I gave it!

    Good juicer

I liked this juicer very much. I liked that it juiced WHOLE fruits and vegies even with the stems, core and peels. The one thing that I didn't like is that there was a lot to have to clean up with the attachments, although it was easy to clean. It just took too much of time to clean up each time I used it and I like clean up to be quick.

I was disappointed; it took several tries before I could get it to operate; the fruit & veggies kept clogging up the filter & the juicer would often smell like it was overheating. Too much trouble to contend with. Nothing should be that much trouble to deal with. I'd like to point out that returning this product to Walmart was a pleasure; Walmart did not hesitate to accommodate me; customer service replied to my e-mails almost immediately & actually sent me a prepaid return label, so it cost me nothing to return; I will definitely buy from Walmart again.

    • for the most part fibrous parts get tossed out... the majority of apple skin gets tossed. what makes it into the juice is barely noticeable in terms of texture. It will turn the juice red/brown or greenish depending on the color apple. Grapes get a lovely purple as most of it goes into the juice but you won't be chewing on grape peels either. If you toss in a few grapes at a time, it'll actually peel the grape before juicing it...

    • Only had it a week; separates skin and pulp in to "pulp collector." I like that because I am not a fruit skin eater (even blueberries which is why I have not eaten because of it until now.

    • The skins, pulp, and small seeds are separated and tossed into the pulp bin and the juice comes out into your glass.

    • It separates about as well as any other $100 centrifugal juicer (not VERY well)

    • Separated. Skin and pulp are shot into the pulp container. Check out fusionjuicer.com for more details. Waited for this product forever and was backlogged for over 6 weeks. Excited to find it at Walmart.

    • This does juice the skins off the fruit, but not separately. The instructions are very clear as to what this juicer can and cannot juice. The pulp is recommended to add separately if it is called for in the recipe or if you want to add to whatever you juice.

Is the model at walmart the same as on television?
    by interested 9/3/2013
    • I just juiced 5 lbs of carrots without having to stop to clean the blade. You can do 2-3 apples before you start to waste juice. Just flush it out by placing the juice by the sink and pouring in water while it's running. Apples should also be cut into quarters..the picture with the apple at the shoot is misleading. the bottom is smaller and has a fin that limits the size of anything firm like apples or beets.

    • Hello Sandy, I have only tried the juice of one time and would love to send it back. I do not believe that this thing will remotely perform as it does on TV. I would strongly recommend you to go online and purchase a used juicer called the juice man II made by jay Kordish. I have owned one for 15 years and it has never failed. I only bought this one because of its beautiful aesthetic look. It is a poor imitation of a good juicer. Do not buy this it is not worth it. Not only it does not work well the spout is not long enough to place a glass under it without it dripping to the counter. The only thing good about this juicer is it looks good on your counter.

    • I have juiced carrots, celery, cucumbers, apples, pears and peaches so far. All juiced easily without any problems. If you go to the infomercial website, the Walmart model is the stainless steel version that is sold on the infomercial site for twice the price of the basic model. It does not include the extra things like the Fusion Booster, which I think is like a coffee grinder/mini blender. It comes with a CD/DVD but I don't know what is on that. It is basically just the premium (stainless steel) version of the juicer and a CD and recipe book for the same price as the base model from the web. Good deal in my mind.

    • Handles them with ease! Those fruits and veggies are the ones I juice most often! Less cutting too, because of the nice wide feed tube.

    • No. It is not worth the money. It takes a lot of muscle to juice apples, pears and the like. Greens clog the blade area. There is a lot of wasted food.

    • I just got it, and it doesn't work as good as it does on the tv. Actually it stopped working the 2nd time I used it. Now I have to pay for it to be shipped back. I do not want a replacement. It also is hard to clean. The blade has to be unscrewed to actually clean it properly. If not, food will be stuck between the blade, and the container that holds the juice. It also does not hold a lot of juice. I hope this helped

Hello, there is no mention of how to clean the fusion juicer on the infomercial. I was wondering how easy is it to clean? Is it a long painful process? Do you have to take a lot pieces apart? Is it easy to put back together? Thank you. Donna
    by Donna 5/4/2013
    • simple to clean, buy a small nylon brush. Hot water rinse is all I do. Line the waste bin with a bag before juicing and you'll only need clean 3 pieces. Everything is held in place by the chrome lever. Pull it forward to unlock and everything will lift off. Super easy to put back together as well.

    • I dump the pulp from the catcher (feed it to my chickens, but you can use it to make bread), and then rinse it under running water, the same as the rest of the parts. The grater/strainer part, I run it under the water and then use a small brush such as a toothbrush to get the rest out. It comes out easily. I also throw it all, except the motor, of course, in the dishwasher, but don't use the drying component. I really like it. It takes just about a minute to clean everything, and is easy to put back together.

    • I have had my juicer for 2 weeks. It is so easy to take apart and clean. It takes me about 2 minutes to empty it and clean it. I use a small round scrubby brush to scrub the screen part where the fine pulp can be difficult to clean. I just rinse everything with water.

    • Extremely easy to clean. The blade with filter is the only part that requires a little more delicate cleaning but once you put it in the dishwasher, everything comes off. Cleans easily, especially if you use the dishwasher.

    • The clean up is easy. You can either put it in the dishwasher or wash by hand, but you have to clean it immediately because leaving it sit will cause the juice from the fruits and vegies to get hard and make it difficult to clean. Also, you can't let the juice sit on the blade. It will damage the blade over time. There are several components to clean and if done by hand will take a little time, but no more than if you were to do dishes by hand anyway. If you use the dishwasher it would be best to do this with other dishes rather than going through an entire cycle just for cleaning this. So, cleaning by hand is best if you need to clean right away. It is easy to put back together. The instructions are very clear.
