Great Camera I recently purchased this camera for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift. Before wrapping it I played around and took a few pictures inside the house and outside. All the pictures came out great with and without the flash. It is a great camera and is easy to use. 12/12/2011
Good still camera - poor video As a still camera, this is a great value. The camera has a 'super automatic' setting that automatically senses the kind of photo #people, landscapes, etc.,# and adjusts accordingly. It also has a great 'panorama' setting. I was especially impressed with photos taken in low light. The resolution, focus, and colors ad terrific. The setting are easy to navigate.Video is a whole different story! My biggest complaint is that you cannot zoom smoothly in video mode - it 'jumps' from one zoom level to the next. Plus there is a 10 minute limit on the amount of video you can take.The camera comes with a USB cable, but no power supply. 11/21/2011
Excellent photos!! My children play football and the camera took excellent action shots and the camera also takes great shots just of the kids in front of a pretty background!!! LOVE IT and definitely worth the money!!!!! 11/08/2011
FujiFilm FinePix S2940 14MP w/18X zoom I'm very dissatisfied with this camera. The flash almost never works indoors, where most of my pictures are taken. Indoor pictures (where there is adequate lighting) are frequently grainy. I've had a FujiFilm S5700 series camera, and it was far superior to the S2940. Definitely considering returning it for refund. The S2940 does have a good zoom feature, and screen is a nice size. I rated it as good only because if everything worked it would probably have met my expectations. Who knows, maybe this model just isn't one of FujiFilm's better models. 11/06/2011
