Rated 4 out of 5Â by Pixiechaser Really is waterproof ! Bought a refurbished one to take snorkeling. It really is waterproof, I think it's good up to 10ft. Just take care of the seal on the battery compartment and you'll be fine. (Stay away from sand & water while it is open and make sure you hear it click/snap shut and the yellow is not showing) Works great in vivid mode, and panaramic mode was fun. Had trouble seeing the screen under water so I would just point n shoot in that direction and hoped for the best. Underwater pics were a little faded and grainy, but You really can't expect crisp pics underwater. They were good enough. And video mode had the best under water sounds! Cool !Note : Refurb one does not come with an SD card. You will need one. 04/04/2013
