Fantastic movie! Grandchildren, boy 6 and girl 8, and I went to our first theater movie ever and they asked Grammy to buy this one "as soon as possible"! Highly Recommended! Pre-ordered, and I'm sure it will be used every visit... Enjoy

Did you know that Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder are in Frozen? Its when Ana is singing and is just leaving the gates, you see a brunette Rapunzel and a nicely dressed Flynn (Eugene) walking in together. You don't see them again though. The movie itself is fantastic, I've seen it more than I should and I may have downloaded the songs from youtube. :D

I saw that the Blu-Ray copy has both the Blu-Ray, regular dvd, and digital copy. If I don't have a Blu-Ray is it silly for me to get this, or are there any advantages?
by Nicole 3/19/2014
  • Give one to a friend and the picture is better. We give the dvd to the kids library and keep the blu-ray for ours.

  • If the player does not support blue ray there is no advantage. You should get standard.

  • I would suggest just buying the DVD, typically it is cheaper because in the Blu-Ray option you get Blu-Ray and DVD versus just DVD, but it's a personal choice.

  • If you do not have a blu-ray player you cannot play the blu-ray disc. It will not play in a regular DVD player. However a Blu-ray player will play both blu-ray and dvd discs. The advantage to blu-ray is higher definition picture on a hdmi tv and they usually include better special features than the regular DVD. Hope this helps.

  • No it is not silly for I too have a blue-ray player. I believe its and advantage for you may know someone who has a regular dvd player who may want to borrow your disc. Also it is two for an excellent price that is only about $4 mor than just purchasing the regular dvd.

  • Maybe you could give the Blu-ray as a gift to someone if you don't need it. That's what I'm doing because I don't have a Blu-ray either. But it was a good value to get all three for a low price.

  • If you are planning on purchasing a bluray player in the near future then I would say yes get the bluray combo pack, but if you have no plans to buy bluray then just purchase dvd

  • Personally, I'd buy the Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy version of the movie. I think you'll be glad you did in the long run. Keep in mind, you may not own a Blu-ray player now, but most likely your next new player will be Blu-ray. Most of your new DVD players are Blu-ray because the price has dropped considerably. Actually, you might have a hard time finding a decent new DVD player that's not a Blu-ray! The price always drops considerable with old technology! It's just like Flat Screen TV's! They were unaffordable when they first came out, now you can get a decent 32" TV for $300.00.
