my dog had been scratching nonstop for weeks. we tried all the cheaper flea meds and also all natural remedies but nothing worked. its been not even 4 hours since we applied frontline it and she is not scratching...at all! totally worth it for my dog to be happy!

I find this product to be very expensive. This year I tried 2other products and found ticks on my dog. First time in 14years. I switched back.

Same thing I've been getting from the vet at a much higher price. The savings is very appreciated.

    • A. most vets say yes, but I don't. Spring thru Fall every month when fleas are active outdoors. After first freeze about Oct-Nov, then no need to use.

    • A. They advise yes. I work with dogs and have 3 dogs and I'll give you a straight answer. Fleas die when the temp. reaches below 60 degrees for a 24 hour period. So if you don't have fleas in your home and don't have dogs coming over that could bring fleas from their house, then I'll say no. I'm not too sure about ticks, but I'm pretty sure they also die off in the winter also. My clients dogs and my personal dogs never used it in the winter and fleas and/or ticks have never been a problem. Keep this in mind, no matter how you want to look at it, any flea agent is a pesticide therefore a poison, however mild, so I tend to use as sparingly as possible.

    • A. Your vet may recommended it, but I don't use it doing the winter.

    • A. I do not use Frontline or any other flea/tick product on my dog in the winter. There are no tick or flea problems during the long winters where I live. I would rather not subject the dog to chemicals unnecessarily, and it helps keep costs down. Even when I lived in a more temperate climate I did not put Frontline or any other product on my dog during the coldest months, typically December, January, and February.
